Our weekend!

Sorry it did not get out of draft until Tuesday 6/2. I left and came back and totally forgot to publish it when I was done, I left off in a hurry and just didn't do it. That is why I don't like leaving things in draft, if I can keep from it. Sorry!

Mommy and her girls, in our Team Jolene, 3 Day Breast Cancer Walk, Mark Noble shirts! Yes that is a long name, but it's all part of it! Mark Noble is the driver of the modified on the shirt, and he had his car in pink for the 3 day walk to bring awareness and help raise more money! Team Jolene is who teamed with mark for this cause! So these shirts are dear to my heart!!! I will wear mine with great pride for all those who have been affected by Breast Cancer. This one is for you Virg! You rock girl! I'm so very thankful that God healed and saved my sweet friend! But it was a battle for sure, for her! We all 4 have a shirt and will sport them proudly!

Here's a picture of the back of Lil E's. She loves hers! And look, my friend did her hair! I love it! I can not french braid for the life of me, but she did it for us, Saturday and I am so thankful!

Just a picture from Saturday Night Short Trackin Baby! The car to the far left is my sweet friends. She rocks!!!! and I did say she! This was from the heat race! It was an exciting night! And Lil K even loved it more! But I have share what she did with yall. She stuffed her shirt with popcorn! Then she would reach in and grab a piece out and look at you with the biggest grin, like look what I just did! She kepts us laughing! Daddy came and sat with us for a short part of the night! So that was nice! He is on the pit crew for my sweet friend!

Oh I better back up, I drive there and Daddy drives home usually! (each way is 2 hours). So Anyway, on the way there, I speed up to go around some slow slow traffic. They are going like 10 below the speed limit on the high way, I'm running behind and do not have time to go below the speed limit! So hubby tells Lil E, "Baby girl, when you start driving, if you drive like momma, I'll have to take your keys!" She says I'll drive good and fast. And we just leave it alone and go on about our night! Now we have not said anything more about this, and we are now heading home! He speeds up to get on the highway, and guess what Lil E says? Here you go....."Daddy, stop driving fast like momma, or I'm going to take your keys!" I busted out laughing! It was just too funny!!!

At the races my girl, informed me she is for sure going to drive a race car, and her race suit is going to be blue! There went Mom's hope of a purple or black with pink suit! But hey, you know she could change her mind! Right now it is all because she wants to be like our friend, Jennifer (the one that races).

And today, was not much of anything all day long, and then tonight we were blessed with company for some family game night! Our friends and us play all sorts of games together! Everyone has so much fun! We played several rounds of top toss and then several rounds of sequence at the table! The dessert was out of this world, yummy!!! I'll have to get the recipe and share it with everyone!

Hugs and Blessings,

Hi Patty!

Hope all is going well. Sounds like the girls had so much fun at the races and that it benefited a wonderful cause!

My best friend from childhood, Shannon, lost her mother to breast cancer in the Spring of 2000. It was a long battle and her mom was courageous until the end. It's hard to believe that it has already been 9 years since Connie's passing. She was like a 2nd mother to me!

Looking forward to seeing the dessert recipe that you post...you always make the best dishes! And even if you didn't make it...I'm sure if it passed the Patty test it must be delicious!!!

Did you always have a 3-column blog or is that new? I love the studio pics of the girls...absolutely adorable! You also do a great job digiscrappin.

Okay, I'm off to visit with a girlfirend, but will be back to read your post about the girls' room. (We were out of town over the weekend so I'm behind on my blog reading.)

Blessings to you,
Val

What a great event to get the girls involved in and at such a youthful age. That is definitely worth while.

Love her hair. It's so cute.
