Faithful Friday – Sometimes I Cry

JoyButton

I am here to participate in Faithful Friday’s with Joy. Click on the button to be taken there for more Faithful Friday posts.

This week has left me in a very different position. I am beyond saddened with the election, and disheartened by the lack of morals in this country today. So I have been in a very different place this week. Sad, worried, and even down right scared about some stuff. Enough that I have found myself crying. And even in some pretty heated conversations. I have been told I am crazy and much more. But the fact remains, I am the same person, and stand strong on my beliefs and convictions from the Lord. So this morning I saw Jason Crabb on the Maria show on the Hallmark Channel, and he sang this song. (click on song to see video and hear it) It moved me greatly. And I hope that no matter where you are, or what is going on in your life, that this help you know you are not alone, in your feelings.

“But sometimes I hurt and sometimes I cry
sometimes I can't get it right
no matter how hard I seem to try
sometimes I fall down
stumble over my own disguise
I try to look strong
as the whole world looks on
but sometimes alone I cry
I try to speak faith
never give the devil one inch to get in
I do worship and praise
let everybody know just where that I stand”

I am praying for all and for our country. I know that through this all, that God is here, and will not forsake us, we just have to keep calling on him, and stand strong on our faith.

Faithful Friday ~ Motherhood

JoyButton

This is something that you may not agree with, and may strike a huge nerve in you. I hope no matter what you find the positive in mother hood!

This is something really big to me. It’s not a job, it’s not a hobby, it’s a calling from God. I believe we are blessed with children, not cursed, as many think. So many see our children as a burden, and feel they have to stop living or give up their dreams and goals. But that is so not the truth.  When I hear the comments about my older friends that have young children, large families, about us that made the choice to bless a hard to handle sweetie through adoption, and all others that are looked at negatively, such as “do they know what causes that?” or my favorite, “Wow, what a handful”.. I say respond with this, Yes I know what causes this Love (being from either adoption or biological), and no, it’s not a handful, it’s a heart full! People need to boldly step out and be proud to be parents! It’s something so special and a huge blessing, and shouldn’t be something we tend to bow down about.

Something I don’t share a lot of details on, as I never want it to come across in a negative way. Because even at the hardest times, she is a blessing and a gift from God. And I am thankful we have her and not someone else. As well, as I focus on the good and the positives in our lives, as to me they grow up way to fast. Life is way to precious to dwell on the negatives or harder times. They only help me cherish and appreciate the others.  But one of my little ones is sometimes a hard to handle one, as she is still dealing with some of the affects of being a drug baby. Many people comment and say such horrible stuff about us and about her. I always say “God blessed us with her and her with us. And can you imagine why? Because we love her and nothing will change that, and I wouldn’t ever hurt her, yet you have just said you would have already. Yes sometimes it’s a handful, but know what it’s ALWAYS a Heartful!”  They look stumped and surprised and sometimes change their tone, others still see it negative.

God  blesses us with a calling, so we need to act as if it is a calling. Instead of saying stuff such as, I just wish I could have a night out with my girl friends and not a worry about the kids, or I send my kids to day care/school/ etc because I want my own time without them around, or what about this I’ll have an abortion because I am not ready to be a mom/ I’ll have an abortion because the child would stand in the way of my dreams! These erk me so bad! Maybe you are pregnant because God has a calling for you. I don’t see a child out there as a mistake! And even if you want to give the child up for adoption, that is ok, it’s blessing and you are still a birth mom and an Adoptive mom is out there waiting. But to just shut the door on such a calling no matter what the type or situation is, is terrible to me.

Yes all I ever wanted to be was a mom. But more than that I knew God wanted me to. I do not see my battle of infertility as a curse, but as a blessing to insure I adopted the precious children that God had planned for me. I really do see it this way. We plan our lives around our kids and what is good for them. We do dinner out with our kids, we do movies with the kids, we do trips with the kids, and we do anything we want with the kids. We take them to Motor Cycle Shows, Craft Shows, or anything else. You see they are a blessing, and my heart is full now that I have them. And I don’t want to live without them! This meaning all the things I do in my life, I do with them in  mind. Do not get me wrong, an occasional night night or time out with the girls is ok. But the all the time leaving children at home, while you live your life is what I’m talking about, or those that abort these babies because the pregnancy or child will stand in their way. Children are a blessing, not a mistake! Never a mistake!

Psalm 139:13: "For You formed my inward parts

So with this, I don’t see them being a curse or a mistake at all, no way, no shape, not possible.

Also scripture tells us this:

Psalm 127:3 Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him.

I really hope that in this somewhere it helped one person to not see Motherhood as a curse or problem. I hope they see it as the Blessing it is.

Today I am going to share a poem, one that is found many places, but it says so much….

Life is not a race - but indeed a journey.

Be Honest. Work hard. Be choosy.

Say "thank you", "I love you", and "great job" to someone each day.

Go to church, take time for prayer.

The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh.

Let your handshake mean more than pen and paper.

Love your life and what you've been given, it is not accidental - search for your purpose and do it as best you can.

Dreaming does matter. It allows you to become that which you aspire to be.

Laugh often. Appreciate the little things in life and enjoy them.

Some of the best things really are free.

Do not worry, less wrinkles are more becoming.

Forgive, it frees the soul.

Take time for yourself - plan for longevity.

Recognize the special people you've been blessed to know.

Live for today, enjoy the moment."

by Bonnie Mohr

This is very true and inspirational to me! And it’s how I try to live my life! I hope that some part of these words or the entire thing will encourage you! I can’t imagine my life any other way, but  most of all, I can’t imagine it without the Lord and prayer! I mean that. Because of him, we have an abundant life to live! And when we live it abundantly in him, we have joy and peace! Be sure to dream big!!!

Faithful Friday - You

JoyButton
Today is Faithful Friday.  (click the button to be taken to other Faithful Friday posts.) I have been absent from blogging, because my heart has been torn about public verses private. So I just stepped back and didn’t know what to do. Then this morning I saw a tweet, and it said “Write that blog post…. Get it done! The world needs YOUR message!” WOW! Talk about a hit upon the noggin to get back to here.. It was by Sandi Krakowski. For all you that twitter, she is awesome.

With this, I am going to start by saying that God has told me, not to let Satan destroy what is of his. And there fore this blog will remain public. I didn’t know what to do, but God has shown me this week that my absence isn’t needed. That I don’t need to hide our life from those people that I have no desire to allow in. God has this under control. And if 1 post helps one person, then that’s all that I need. And sharing our lives with those we love, and the journaling of our lives are both added bonuses.

So today I am here to share something.

I can’t stop thanking God for you! Eph 1:16

This is such a powerful scripture! Oh my! I can’t stop thanking God for all my yous!…..
Jesus, Because God gave his only Son for us! Yes all of us! (Check out this song by Chris Howard) click there for the song.
For my wonderful husband, who stands beside me always! He is truly my bestest friend!
For my Daugthers! Both Lil E and K Bugs are such a blessing!
For all the Birth Moms out there! You are special and appreciated!
For my parents! They are the greatest!!!! And I know my sweet Momma is smiling down on us!
For the Grandparents in our lives!
For You, My friends new and old that read my blog! I love hearing from yall too btw.
For all my family near and far!
For you, my family in Christ! All my brothers and sisters of the Lord!
For my friends that never grace by my blog here.
For my special  best girl friends! I can’t imagine my life without them!
For you, all the past, present and future US Military Members! Man we couldn’t do this with you! This is huge, this past weekend our local community laid to rest an American Hero, a US Solider that has been killed early in Sept in Afghanistan. It was nice to see our community pull together and protect his family from the protestors, as well as to see everyone so united.
For you the small business owners that keep things real.
For you the people that support the small businesses.
For you, all the volunteers!
For you, the foster and adoptive families! It’s sometimes very stressful, but it is OH SO REWARDING!
For you, the Medical Field Worker helping others!
For you the Firefighter and EMTs! You know the ones, the ones that run in, when the rest are running out!
For you, the Police/ Sheriff that have a lot to do, and see so much!
For you, the Pastor and Ministers out there! Spreading the Gospel and showering this world with Christ’s love!
For you to teachers, homeschool, private school, or public school, for taking the time to teach others.
For you, each and everyone of you that has given your life to Christ! And this week, I am delighted to say one of my best friends, who has had a lot of doubt and uncertainty gave her life to Christ! Praise be to God!

I could go on and on and on! So even though things aren’t just the way we want them in our lives, you know what we are very blessed people with alot of yous to be thankful for!  And yes, each of you that reads this blog, I am thankful for you, just as it says! And you may fit into more than one of the you’s. You are special and loved!

Happy and Blessed Friday!

This week I am going to Share about a huge blessing in my life, my dear friends! Without some special friends, I don’t know where I would be today.  And scripture tells us lots about our friends. Sometimes we are just way to hard headed to listen.

My all time favorite Scripture is Proverbs 17:17 “A Friend Loves at all times.”  You would think this is simple, but to many it is not. Sometimes as friends, we often don’t agree with what our friend may be doing, so we forget to show them we still love them, yet scripture says we love at all times. So why must we let society stand in our way, and start to doubt and judge about loving through it all? I love my friends through the good and bad, the pretty and the ugly. It’s not that I agree with them always, but it is that I do love them. And I remind them, just as I remind my kids, I love you, but I don’t have to like what you are doing. I learned this from my dear Momma. So I challenge you to try a bit harder, and love your friends all the time, no matter what.

Sometimes we get our feelings hurt and such, but even after our friend ask for forgiveness, often we don’t let go, so what happens is we add strife and conflict to the friendship, by dwelling on whatever it was that happened. But not only are we not forgiving then, but we are going against God’s word, and tearing apart a friendship. Scripture says in Proverbs 17:9 “He who covers and forgives an offense seeks love, but he who repeats or harps on a matter separates even close friends.”

Sometimes, we need a friend to be there to listen and lend Biblical advice. And when you find this friend, you know you are truly blessed and have a real friend.  In Proverbs 27:9 “Oil and perfume rejoice the heart; so does the sweetness of a friend’s counsel that comes from the heart”. So it’s true, we need this. It’s in God’s word telling us that that friend is sweetness to our heart. I sure hope to be that friend to all my friends. I hope to be the best possible friend I can be to them, and be there to support and counsel them, whenever they should need.

I’ve had some really hard times and some times that some stood with me and some that have not, as well as many that have judged me… This only pushing me further from ok. Even it is stated in Proverbs 18:24 “Friends can destroy one another, but a loving friend can stick closer than family.” Oh how this is true.. I have learned this through the trials of late. I have had some friends hold me back and hurt me more, and then I have been very blessed and had some stick closer than family. I am forever grateful for these who have stood by and continued to show love in the the hard times. And in this I am not talking about a friend trying to provide criticism and help, as that is what we are commanded to do. This is done nicely and openly with love. You are trying to offer counsel and express your feelings. This is not judging nor being hateful and rude. Proverbs 27 5:6 “Open criticism is better than unexpressed love. Wounds made by a friends are intended to help, but an enemy’s kisses are too much to bear.”  … Now this isn’t saying we can go be rude… But if you need to tell a friend that you are hurt, or that the Bible says something, or tell them something God has laid on your heart, even though they may not want to hear it, it doesn’t mean it’s wrong. We just have to make sure we are doing it in love and not ugliness.

When you have a true friend, it’s a very sincere and rewarding blessing!  And the best way to have this friend, is to be that friend.  In John 15:12-13 “Love each other as I have loved you. This is what I’m commanding you to do. The greatest love you can show is to give your life for your friends.” … God is calling us to be this friend….

I hate to say in today’s world many friendships are born and grow out of greed and what they can get from the other. Even in support, it’s not about being the friend. And this only hurts the other person and the friendship. I encourage everyone to think and reflect on their friendships, and be all God has called us to be. We are his daughters, and the world and our friends should see him through our friendship.

I am not saying I am perfect. Nor pointing the finger at only one, but this is something that God has laid on my heart to share. Lots of people need to remember friendship are a gift from God and should be treated as such.

Thank you to my most awesome and wonderful friends! I am so thankful for yall and love you!

Faithful Friday's ~ He carried Me!

Wow! It sure has been a very long time since I have been here to post..... I am way sorry for the lapse in blogging. But I hope to soon be back on a regular basis!

But Something Lead me to be here today for Faithful Friday!

I have been in a big funk! It's not been one thing, it's been many. Way to many for this post tonight! I had lost myself in many many ways. But I have refocused and am doing so much better! God never left me, nor did he forsake me! He stayed right with us, through the valley! Every hill we had to climb he was right there!

As most of you know, I lost my mom going on 2 years ago. Will be 2 years at the end of Sept. I have had several reason that I didn't grieve, and it's just not at the point I am truly able to grieve. She was the GREATEST woman I have ever known, and a true example of a Proverbs 31 Woman. A dear dear friend, more like a sister, made me the most beautiful gift ever!

A beautiful quilt, it's made out of my momma's clothes! And it has  not been washed, so I can smell her! I know that God sent this at the very time he did, as it is the time I started to grieve and learn to function really again. And I had became a hoarder to things that I could find anyway at all to tie  to Momma. Like I may have bought it when her and I went to the store... Silly silly stuff. But I couldn't move on! Now I am moving on!

We moved and I was sorting through some stuff that I display with a tribute to My sweet Momma, and I found this little book, a book I had given her years ago. But I have it back, after she passed a way.

It's "Footprints ~ Scripture with Reflections Inspired by the Best Loved Poem"  Margaret Fishback Powers. This was my Momma's favorite poem, and I had given there this book for Easter 2000! 10 years before she passed away, and I found it this week, while unpacking, and I knew it was a message that I needed to hear.

So I will share this part of the poem, it was a true testament to how I have felt lately, and something my Momma raised us to have full belief in!

"I looked back at the footprints in the sand. There was only one set of footprints. I realized that this was at the lowest and saddest times of my life. This always botherd me, and I questioned the Lord about my dilema.  "Lord, you told me when I decided to follow you, You would walk and talk with me all the way. But I'm away that during this the most troublesome times of my life there is only one set of footprints. I just don't understand why, when I needed You most, You leave me."  He whispered, "My precioud child, I love you and will never leave you, never ever during your trials and testings. When you saw only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.""

I have realized that in the darkest times that I have not grieved my Momma leaving me here, been beyond hurt and saddened that the baby didn't get to live with us, and that we have yet again faced work changes, a huge reaction to a medicine (that wrecked havoc in many ways, and feeling so very alone, I wasn't alone. My dear Lord carried me! Just like a baby, he held me and carried me to this point and I'm finally getting to a better place! Thank you, Jesus!

Faithful Friday’s

JoyButton

I have been away a few weeks. I come here with plans, but something keeps me from my blog and blogland. Be sure to click the photo to be taken to other Faith Friday blogs…

But I was refusing to allow that again this week…..

This is something that some may not agree with, but it’s on my heart to share.

So today a friend and I were together. We got on the subject of “Dooms Day” and I basically said the date from the mayan calendar was issued before our current calendar, so it’s already passed. She looks at me and says “I am so glad, I thought I’d be going to hell soon”. I couldn’t not believe what she was saying, and I’m like honey why? She is because I can’t be forgiven. I’m like a sin is a sin, we are all sinners, and are able to get to Heaven. She can’t believe it. And says, but it’s adultery and so I can’t be! With tears in both our eyes (for different reasons), I was shocked. My sweet friend, really believes she can not make it to Heaven over a mistake she has made. So I tell her, she can and how. But this is really troubling me, how many others, and others that I know, think they can not make it to Heaven, over something in their past…. How many believe that their sin is too big!

So I am here to tell you today that you can make it to Heaven! You just have to pray and ask Jesus into your heart, and accept him as your Lord and Savior. And accept we are all sinners and ask for forgiveness.

Here’s a few scriptures I hope to help you see, we are all sinners and God forgives our sins….

Romans 3:23 For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.

1 John 1:7-9 But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin. Ife we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth. But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.

1 Corinthians 15:57 But Thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 8:1 So now there is condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus.

I really hope and pray that this helps you, anyone out there, know you are able to be forgiven! I hope you see we all are sinners, and can see sin is forgiven by God.

Hugs and Blessings to all! Remember we are all forgiven!

I had not been sure what I was going to share, and then I read something to my husband, a simple quote about without have Christmas in the heart, you can believe, and he said that’s true, paused a moment and then said kinda like this…..

“Man who have not Faith in the Lord, shall never have peace!” ~ hubby james

It hit me, wow! He had a very profound and true statement!! And you may be asking yourself how can this be? But here you go…

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world give do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

John 16:33 I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulations. But take heart; I have over the world.

2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Colassians 3:15 And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.

There’s a few scriptures about peace. And It’s so true. One can’t have a real peace without our Lord, Jesus Christ. When we were going through the first adoption and were so nervous and scared, the spirit brought the words of 2 Timothy 1:7, it was the comfort and reminder of how it would all work out, I had to stop letting Satan take my thoughts. He was only there to steal my joy. And even this time, and even though the adoption didn’t go through, I kept peace the entire time, because my faith was in the Lord. I didn’t let what Satan was doing stress me out and freak me. I knew that God had me, to carry me through no matter what may come.

I really look back and some of the hard times, we have had in through the years, and I know that I had we not had our faith in the Lord, we just wouldn’t  have been able to find peace and comfort, but even as far to carry on. But with him, we sure do have a peace that, even I can’t understand beyond it’s because of him.

Faithful Friday..... Do you know????

to check out other Faithful Friday posts click here...

It's another Faithful Friday post... And am I so glad to share this with all of you. This week we lost a very special person to us. Papa has went home to be with our Lord and Savior. And as we set out to make the journey across several states, to be with family and all, it had me thinking..... I know kinda hard to believe... But it did.... I'm so thankful that God's promise tells us we have ever lasting life, so that I know he is in Heaven and I will one day join him too. Did you know you can be saved and ensure you have a peaceful pain free everlasting life? And you will be rejoicing with our Savior? How awesome is that?

So I wanted to share with everyone, incase someone doesn't know this, just how to be saved and know you too will one day be rejoicing with the King of Kings. So I am going to share a couple of scriptures and then a prayer.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believeth in him should not perish, but have ever lasting life.

Acts 16:31 Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.

Eph 3:17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith.

Psalms 37:24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.

So see, it's that simple! God gave his son Jesus, so that we who believe in him are SAVED. Therefore Christ is in us! And no matter what we do, as long as we keep believing, he will never turn his back and push us out! What a beautiful and wonderful blessing this is for us!!! It makes me so happy!!!

It's simple, it really is! And all you have to do is believe and ask Jesus to come into your heart.
Here's a prayer to pray, if you haven't ever asked Jesus to be your Lord and Savior, and wish to do so.

Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you in believing that you are our creator, and that you gave your son, Jesus Christ for me. That he died for our sins on the cross at Calvery. He then rose from the dead. Your word tells us in Romans 10:9 that if we confess the Lord our God and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, then we shall be saved. So Father, I believe that Jesus died for my sins and was raised from the dead by you. I ask that Jesus come to my heart, and I accept he is my personal savior. I thank you father for this gift of eternal life. I think you Jesus for being my personal savior. That so I shall be saved. In your Son's precious Holy name, Amen.

It's really that simple! I am not asking you to follow a particular religion, instead I am asking and hoping you will find a relationship with our Lord and Savior, so that you too shall have an everlasting eternal life. If you would like to talk more about this, message me and I'll be glad to visit and pray with you.

May you all have a beautiful blessed weekend!

Hugs and Blessings,

Faithful Friday

It's Faithful Friday!! I have been really missing blog land and sharing and keeping up. I know that I have had a lot of adjusting and things going on, but I plan to work really hard at being better at this. Not only because I miss all of you, but for a better family journal.

On to the topic of this post... I am so glad to share in Faithful Fridays, and if you want to join in, it would be great. You can click on the button and it will take you to our awesome host.

I thought I'd share about what I have been up to... I have been working hard at being a Virtues Woman! I am striving hard to be a Proverbs 31 Woman. To be the best wife and mother that I can be.

Not that I didn't before, but since we moved (New Years was started in a new home to us). I have tried even harder to be better and happier at doing my chores and all the tasks of a wife and mom. Many ask me why I take the role of being a stay at home mom so serious, because I wanted this job for many many years. It was literally my dream job! I wanted to be like my momma. And when I think of a Proverbs 31 Woman, I think of her.

So I share with you today, the 3 areas that I have taken to another level in how I am striving to be better.

Being a better happier wife. ~ Marriage – A Virtuous Woman respects her husband. She does him good all the days of her life. She is trustworthy and a helpmeet. (Proverbs 31: 11- 12, Proverbs 31: 23, Proverbs 31: 28, 1 Peter 3, Ephesians 5, Genesis2: 18)

Being a better mom. ~ Mothering - A Virtuous Woman teaches her children the ways of her Father in heaven. She nurtures her children with the love of Christ, disciplines them with care and wisdom, and trains them in the way they should go. (Proverbs 31: 28, Proverbs 31: 26, Proverbs 22: 6, Deuteronomy 6, Luke 18: 16)

Being a better home keeper in many many ways. ~ Homemaking – A Virtuous Woman is a homemaker. She creates an inviting atmosphere of warmth and love for her family and guests. She uses hospitality to minister to those around her. (Proverbs 31: 15, Proverbs 31: 20 – 22, Proverbs 31: 27, Titus 2: 5, 1 Peter 4: 9, Hebrews 13: 2)
(like keeping a cleaner house all the time, but also doing the chores with a smile and a purely happy heart. Staying on task instead of being so easily side tracked. Keeping our routine has made a big difference. I don't know about you, but once I get behind, I become overwhelmed and then before I know it, I get discouraged. This was the cycle and Satan kept it going. But now I am not letting him win, and I am following God's word and doing all I can do to fulfill the job he has blessed me with.)

I found this list to be so helpful and it's easily lined out. You can find it here, 10 Virtues of the Proverbs 31 Woman.

By no means am I perfect, but the closer I grow my walk with Christ, the more I want to be a real Proverbs 31 Wife and Mom! I want others to see what a joy this job is! I want it to be used to be a true testimony of his!

I have began to follow many other virtues to help improve our family. It is making a big difference, with the harder I yearn to be that, the happier and smoother things are going in our home! Not to say they were bad before, but I can for sure tell it's at a new better level.

Hugs and Blessings,

Faithful Friday

I"m back for another Faithful Fridays post!!! I just love sharing about the goodness of my Lord!

This week I am sharing something really important to me. Don't speak the negative into your life! Instead stand firm and claim victory, have faith... You the faith of a mustard seed? That's all it takes! And as our Pastor reminds us each week, Fear is the opposite of Faith! So when you are going through a hard time, hand it, and I really mean hand it right on over to God! Let me take care of it, and praise him through it!

Victory Report Online is a local publication giving praise to our Lord. It's really awesome. Check out this story ~ It's on the first page of the November issue! This story is a remarkable story and about a dear friend of mine! In the last 2 years she has given me strength, because to have seen her faith and read it in there, is still something beyond awesome! It's amazing how she never let fear or anything that was not of God hurt her or get her down!!!

I hope you get to read it and it reminds you just how much our faith can get us!

Faithful Fridays ~ Listening when God speaks

oops, I started this yesterday and well, now I am just finishing it..... Sorry for the delay.

Want to check out other Faithful Friday posts, Check them out here!

I thought I'd share something with all of you this week on Faithful Fridays.... As most know we have moved many times in the last 6 years and have yearned for a Church home, but we try and try and nothing feels right. We were just going to stick it out at this place, but by the time the day was over, I couldn't tell you what we learned about at Church. I wasn't being fed! Life was getting crazy and hectic and what could go wrong was! But I keep faithful, and started a Bible Study with a dear friend. I knew that God our Heavenly Father was going to bring me to the right place so that we could live abundantly! In this all, we remained faithful and walked the walk.

After Lil E started public school, I made a new friend, and right away she asked if we wanted to try their Church! Like only the 3rd time she even spoke to me. And by speaking I mean very general talk while picking up our girls from School. We started standing on opposite sides of the area, but God moved us to the same area! First convo was her asking if I made the girls bows. Then Satan stepped in and kept us for talking the next couple of days, then we had sick girls that kept us home and not at school. So it was nearly a week before we had a 2nd time to chat. Funny thing is, God had already planted into my heart that I needed to find out in a round about way what Church they went to and give it a try. She just screams Proverbs 31 Lady! So of course when she asked, I said yes! Without even knowing anything more about the Church.

I first tried out the Women's Bible Study and feel in love! I couldn't wait to try Church! So it was off to Church their we went and WOW O WOW! I am so happy to say, that we have found a Church home! All of us are beyond excited and love it there! No one wants to even miss now! Before if we missed a day, it didn't matter so much. We weren't getting what we needed! Now we can't get enough!

But see if I had not been listening to God's seeds in me, I just might have not been eager to try a Church that someone I had only spoke to 3 times, invited me to! Because in my mind, I would have said, what if I didn't like it, I wouldn't want to hurt their feelings. Or I would have asked what type, and wanted to check out their Faith Statement and beliefs before I'd even consider trying it. But God spoke, and I listened (and it was something so not normal that I'd listen to) and then he spoke to her too! She listened and acted! We listened and now have a beautiful Church home and some awesome friends who share in our faith and walk with Christ! And it's so awesome!!!

So if you aren't being fed where you are, listen to God he will lead you where he wants you to go. He will make the way and open the door to that special Church, because he wants all his children to be in the word, walk the walk, have the fellowship, and be together in the body of Christ! He wants only the best for his children, but as his children, just like we want our children to do, we have to listen to his instructions!

Faithful Fridays ~

I plan to start joining up each week with Faithful Fridays... If you want to join in or read other Faithful Fridays, just click the link and it will take you there. I want to share just how awesome our God is!

So tonight I am sharing something that happened just tonight.

Tonight we were driving home, and out of NO WHERE my dearly spiritually gifted and blessed Lil E, exclaims "Momma do you see Jesus? He is right there looking at me! Right out my window! See him, see him Momma. He is showing me Belle and her little feet. See her eyes. Momma Jesus is showing her to us! She is coming soon!!" ... WOW!!!! I had some super happy tears!!! Happiness that our little one will be home soon, but not just that, I am elated that my sweet daughter is that spiritually connected to our Lord, that she could see and feel him! And knew! But not only am I beaming about her and the message, but it made me start thinking, if we all had the faith of a child, just how much better we would be!! And how much closer we would be to God! And not only that, but it would please him so much!!!

Hebrews 11:6

And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

Matthew 18:3

And said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

So that's is my work, to be more child like in my faith, so I can hear him better, see him better, and please him more!!!

Praising God for my 7 year old daughter who showed this very thing tonight!!

Faithful Friday

Wow, it has been a long time since I have been here to blog, and even longer since I have been with it! I was about to sit down and do a full catch you all up post, and then I decided that I'd rather, do this very important Faithful Fridays post! .
This is a very special post, as I have so much to be thankful for! First of all, we are all moved and settled in. What a blessings, and I can't wait to show you all pictures of our home and of the Christmas decorations too.
I'm also thankful that everyone is just about over the flu! Only Lil K is still has some left. Poor thing! But she is so much better! And the rest of us are good to go with it! Thank you, Jesus! I wish no one else to get it! It's horrible stuff!
And even bigger than that, is this very week, Lil E pulled a tv in the play room off the entertainment center on her! I feel so very blessed that she had a Guardian Angel with her, as she wasn't hurt seriouslly! This could have been so very much worse, but instead my sweet little one has an injured foot and a very thankful set of parents! To tell you how scared I was, isn't even possible! But God was with her and kept her safe for sure!
And this is last for the praises this week, but it's by no means the least. We are in all areas officially over to adoption! We are in the final stages of this adoption process for Lil K! We are looking at early 2010 for this to be final! Even though this has carried on, it's so good to see the end in site! What a blessing for our family! It really is so heart warming!
So even though we have been sick and all, we have so very much to be thankful for! We serve an AWesome God! He is always good!
Hugs and Blessings,

Hope yall are having a great week and that everyone is staying healthy! We have many that we know that are in need of prayers, for swine flu cases. It was a beautiful fall day here today! So we headed out to another pumpkin patch! The girls loved it!!! How do you not have a blast chasing each other around the pumpkins! And it was a site to see, to watch Lil K trying to pick up all the bigger pumpkins! They had so much fun riding in the wagon too. It was really a great day! I thought I'd share a few pictures with yall.....

I love how they were both working together! Doesn't get much sweeter than this! *big grins*

My 2 favorite individual shots of each of the girls.

This week is a very different Faithful Friday for me.... As it is day after, Infant and Pregnancy Loss Day, this brings me to a very special prayer request, and that is for all that have been affected by this tragedy in life. And for all that are dealing with Infertility. One of my best friends, is struggling greatly with this very thing. They (Deborah and Paul) are on their last IUI, and we find out Monday if levels are high enough. Please pray they are!!!! She has great desires to be have another baby! They have struggled greatly with both infertility and miscarriage.
I am so happy to report that all is going great with the move and plans! God has opened so many doors that I never dreamed could be opened! I'm beyond happy with all that he is doing in our lives! We are so blessed!!! And we can't wait to get settled into our new home!!!
Just remember that God is with us always, and nothing is impossible for him! Even in our darkest hours, keep on praising him!
Luke 18:27
But he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.

Life around here! We have been very busy packing and cleaning out, as well as repainting the place we are in now, getting it all ready for us to move out. We are trying to have it ready to go the morning we pull out of here! As well as planning a trip to help move my parents next weekend. And we are going to be blessed with Company Halloween Weekend! Grandma and Papa will be visiting us for a few days! WE are so so so excited for this! And can't wait! Then it's the move! Wow, I can't believe it is nearly upon us! But excited too.
Hope everyone is doing well! Yall take care!

This week's post is a lil different. I am sharing a video of Praise you in the Storm by Casting Crowns, this is something I thought I'd share with you all this week, because it's been a big help to me. We are dealing with some difficult issues in our lives right now, but I know that God has a plan that is greater than we are! And I have to keep praising him and walking in his faith! Even though it's hard.

Hope it may inspire you too.

Faithful Friday

I wanted to first remember those that we lost in the tragedy on 9/11. Yall are not forgotten! I pray for peace and comfort for all of our Nation! And please recall how United we were! Lets fight to keep it going! We are blessed to live in the greatest nation on Earth, the USA!

I'm so thankful for my family being saved that very day! God was trully at work! My cousin had taken the day off for a doctors appointment, and was not at work at the World Trade Centers. And my other cousin was alive and well in the Pentagon! God really blessed our family, and even though we are blessed by having our loved ones still with us, my heart will forever break for those who are not so lucky!

More than a faithful report this week, I come to you with some prayer requests.

My Daddy~ his health is not good, and things are not well. There isn't anything else they can do for him.

My cousin ~ They are checking her for breast cancer.

Eli ~ My friends nephew who had open heart surgery last week.

Heather and Eric ~ My sweet friends, they are dealing with infertility and not sure where the road leads next!

Remember all those children that are lost or stolen in this crazy world! And for all those children being hurt. And for everyone that is in need! God is bigger than our problems! We just have to have the faith and believe!

Thank you for sharing and being with me again,

Faithful Fridays

I'm back with a Faithful Friday post. Please click on the button above and it will take you to the host and you can find more Faithful Friday reports. :)

Yesterday was hubs day off and we had to run some errands. They said the storm was going to get pretty ugly (and they tend to over there). They were talking about hail and inch and half in size. But God never allowed the storm to be that way! Instead it was a few claps of thunder, lots of dark clouds, and rain! But as we walked out side to get in our home and head home, we were blessed by this beautiful rainbow! It was beyond gorgeous and you could see every color! WE could see the full rainbow... This changed fast, as it continued to grow, and followed us almost home with the storm! It was remarkable! And the best part was, we didn't see the double rainbow in the first picture. But after giving thanks to our Lord, for this beautiful site, we were then again blessed with a double rainbow, that was large and even more beautiful! We really had the best drive ever!

God is always with us, it's if we choice to realize it or not. This week, we had take Lil E for pre school orientation. I was really nervous, as I'm sure we will homeschool instead of public school. But I did want to let her go to this awesome Private Christian Preschool. Hubby was even more nervous than me. And after prayer, I knew that only thing we could do is all go together, so when it worked to be his day off yesterday, I knew it was trully a God sent! So we went, and I can't even tell you enough awesome things about it! It is the sweetest place! And she truly loves kids! She is remarkable! And even inspiring! So I am now really looking forward to her going there.
On this faithful Friday, I'm going to ask for prayers from all of my friends here. I have a couple of close friends who are dealing with infertility issues, and this is a very hard struggle. So I ask that you take a moment and pray for all that are struggling because of infertility. That if is God's wish for them to adopt, that God will show them the path, and open the doors that they need opened, and if it is to be a parent any other route, please pray for God to open the doors in that way too.

Sharing some Faith

It's been way overdue for another Faithful Friday post! God is so good and is always good!!! I have been waiting all week for this post! Things have been less than GRAND for us for a few months (since hubby had been on reduced hours and then laid off). But we knew all along God was with us and had a plan! We kept our eyes on him and didn't let it bring us down!!! Hubby just kept doing everything he needed to do for his family! Ranching and side jobs carried us through! All the while being able to help others in their times of need too. This very week, prayers have been answered!!! Hubby is going back to work now! A different location, but close enough we don't have to relocate. We are so happy and thankful! Thank you, Jesus!!!!! What a blessing!!!

I want to share another awesome praise! My sister's medicine is helping control her seizures. Thank you, Jesus! They were so scared of her having a big one, after her stroke and all. With this and her other illnesses, they doctors, said she wouldn't be ok if she had a big seizure. But there she wasn't a canidate for many of the medicines. But God lead them to the very one on the first try! It is amazing! We have gone from 14 and 15 seizures a day, to just a few! Thank you, Jesus!!!!

And I wanted to share with you all. Last week, I didn't get to post and share the great news! God answered a huge prayer, and no biological father was found for Lil K, and all biological and allegged and possible biological parental rights are terminated. So we have fully moved to adoption stage now! It will be final in a couple of months! I can't wait!!!!! Thank you, Jesus, for our gifts of adoption! They are the best!!! My girls are the greatest gifts we have received!
Thank you all for staying with us! Each and everyone of you is a great blessing in my life and I'm thankful for the part you play. I'm sorry we have been absent from blogging so much, but I'll be doing better.

Hugs and Blessings,

It's me again and Faithful Friday!

Hello to all my friends! I am sorry I haven't been around much! But today is Faithful Fridays with Joy, and I knew I better come take part and say hi to everyone. Just click on the picture above and it will take you over there!

First I ask you to pray for all in the path of the storms. I know it's been a stormy few days! I pray that all stay safe! Ours started last weekend, and some more this week too.

I have so much to be thankful for, so I thought I'd share a bit of what I'm so thankful for this week!!! Every week, God is opening new doors! And this week was do different! He has opened doors to get this adoption even finalized sooner! What a blessing! It came as a great surprise, that this step was being done now, as we were told it would be another month! But we are so so so thankful to serve a God so big and wonderful that because of him and only him, doors are opening! Thank you, Heavenly Father!

I'm thankful for my family! Sunday we attended my niece's graduation! We are all so proud of her! We had the time to spend with the family that afternoon, and it was so nice! Everyone just seemed to really enjoy it!

I'm thankful for some answered prayers regarding work for hubby! We knew if we believed and stood strong in faith, tht it would all work out, and it is! What a blessing!!!

And this week, I'm thankful for the time that Lil E had with her grandparents! I'm thankful for the one on one time with Lil K. And I'm thankful for us all being together at home, were we belong! I'm so glad she is home and that my parents are visiting this weekend! What a blessing. It was nearly a year ago, when they visited us last!

Lil K is sending sweet kisses to all!
Wishing everyone a very wonderful and blessed weekend! Stay safe!
Oh and why I haven't been here... Just been super busy with getting adoption stuff in order and on the go for sure! It's been chaotic to say the least, but so thankful for every day and every item we must attend to on our agenda.
Hugs and Blessings,
