Aug Started with a STAMPEDE! Scentsy Convention 2011

It was so much fun to kick off Aug at the Scentsy Stampede! Our annual convention!!! It was tons of fun!!!

Scentsy kicked off our event with a family night at the Stock Yards. Armadillo races, long horn rides, machanical bulls, Cattle Drive, and much more! Then 2 concerts!!!

It was way to hot there!!!! WHEW!!!!

And I mean at 9:30 at night it was still 114*.... That's just way to hot for me! But you can't beat the Scentsy Spirit! It's the most awesome!!!

Before I go any further, I want to share why I love Scentsy so much! First, yes it's the safesty way to enjoy a candle! It's pretty and decorative! It always me to express something about me. It's a wonderful product! But much much more important that this, is that Scentsy is about being REAL, it's about Simplicty, Authenticity, and Generosity! Scentsy is completely about giving more than you take and giving back!!! There is always something going on around Scentsy to benefit and help someone!!! Even the consultants band together to help those in need! Just like with the wild fire in Texas burned so much, many consultants collected various things to help those in need!!

Each selling season, Scentsy offers a Charitable Item! And 100% of the net profits off the sale of this item will go to the said charity! The first one was Sunshine Kids Foundation, then Breast Cancer, and then Autism Speaks! All of which were warmers!!! But are you ready for the newest Charitable item!!! It's not a warmer!

Oh no, but it's a soft and cuddly ever so cute, Scentsy Buddy!!! Her name is Sasha and she for the Ronald McDonald house!!! This is so exciting!!!

At Convention, they reveal to us the new products coming out! And below are a few of my other favorite things, because we all know Sasha is for sure a top favorite in my book.

Scentsy also has blessed me with some wonderful friends!!! And even reconnected me with a long lost friend! We both sell Scentsy!

Award night was beyond awesome too!! I don't think I'll ever skip out on awards night again!! It was worth going to!

Scentsy has help me grow in many ways, and I'm so thankful for the blessing my Scentsy business has been to me!

Convention Rocked!

WOW! I am still amazed at just how awesome Convention was, but even more, and what truly wonderful people our Owners are!!! I have been apart of more than one other Direct Sales Company, and never have I ever been more impressed with every part of the company!!! I love love love the products, but it's more than that!!!! Convention was intense in a GREAT way, and with the Intensity theme, it rocked!!!!!

I am so excited to share with you some of the NEW and soon to be available items!!! There are many more coming out, but I am only highlighting my favorites here, this time.


First off, we had the Kick Off Party to kick off our Start to convention! It was a true tail gate style party! We all had lots of fun! And it was just awesome!! But there we learned the NEWEST Campus Collection warmers, and they are available now! They started the month of August!

The Army, Air Force, Marines, and Navy are all 4 going to be available!!! They will be $35, with money from the sale of these, going to help out our Military!!!!! This is something I am so proud of!!! Being as many I love have severed and still do, it prides me like I can't tell you!!! So you can be sure, that I will be boasting my very own!!!!

And for the Coast Guard, they are under a different division of the Government and Scentsy is working on getting the license for a US Coast Guard warmer too!

After crying during General Session, because I had been moved beyond belief by our President of Scentsy, Heidi Thompson, as she gave her speak on Generosity! It was one of the BEST speeches ever!!!!! I was got so excited for new products!!!!!

We will be carrying the all new Fragrance Foam! It's a hand sanitizer that is alcohol free and is anti bacterial too!!! It will be out in 5 of the top selling favorite scents!!!! I find this so cool, since it's non toxic and safe for kids!!!!!!


But I am so excited to share the new Scentsy Buddies with you!!!! They are for the kid of all ages! (as with all stuffed animals, they say safe for children 3 and above.)



They do smell and you can pick your scent and even change it when the time comes, if you want! And this is easy because you just put in the all new Scent Pack!!! All safe new cloth sache'.... It is awesome!! One comes with the purchase of the Scentsy Buddy!



I met new people, made some friends, and had the time of my life! I learned a lot more about the Great company, the Owners, all the Executives, and was inspired to even be a better person!!!
It was truly the most rewarding of all conferences and training events I have attended!

And we had the best Guest speaker, Amanda Gore! She is a hoot and so up lifting!!!!

During the last General Session of the event, we had the chance to text our "ah-ha" moment of the convention, and a few the chance to speak on stage of theirs! I texted mine up, and it is the picture below!


Mine was, and it's my new motto to life! "simple joy with lots of generosity is the way!"


A trip wouldn't be complete without a little bit of extra fun too!!! So a group of us headed to the Hard Rock Cafe' for dinner and then we ended the night at Lakeside!! It was lots of fun!!!


As we were leaving Lakeside, we had to stop and play around of Hungry Hungry Hippo!!! How cool it was!!!!


I truly believe I have purpose of spreading the Scentsy Love with others!!!

Denver Zoo

We started our Convention trip off with a trip to the Denver Zoo!! It was the coolest zoo!! I love zoo's and have been to many. But I have to say Denver's is truly incredible! We plan to take a trip there to take the kiddos and to North Pole, Colorado too! What a fun trip it will be!!!


Back to the zoo, here's some of the pictures I took!!! I hope you enjoy them too!










I have to say I loved the feathered friends areas!!! It was so cool!!!

Not a lot to say, as the pictures speak for themselves, but the zoo is really awesome! So if you are ever there, be sure to check it out!!!

But it was time to get lunch and get to the Convention Center to start the Scentsy Convention 2010 ~ "Intensity!"
