And I am already impressed with the ease of adding pictures! This may just be my new way to blog… We shall see….

These are some pictures of us in our UT shirts as we made our way on the journey to many new places and things in a very short time.

A place I have been

Day 5 is a picture of somewhere you've been

I really didn't know if I wanted to pick a fairly recent place or some place from years ago. Then I decided I would pick some place we have been recently. We have only taken several mini short trips. Mostly here in Texas.

One of my favorite places has been within a few hour drive from us for the last several years! And I just love it! Palo Duro Canyon! Here's some pictures from two different trips this past year. I hope to go in the fall and winter this coming year! I just love it!

These first group of pictures are from last spring.

And now you are going to see from the summer.

One of my favorite parts of each trip is the wildlife we get to see! Here's a beautiful deer just watching us!

And this beautiful picture below was taken from inside a cave by hubby! If you look close down at the road, to the right you will see a silver van, and that is where I was with 2 sleeping babies!

If you ever are in that part of Texas, you really should stop and take a visit! It's beautiful! And these picture do it NO justice!

The Cross

I wanted to share something very special with all of you! We stopped on our way home from our July 4th trip. It is something that is beyond beautiful and none of these pictures do it justice!!! I can assure you that! In Groom, TX (just off of I40) you can stop and visit The Cross. It is actually called the Cross of Our Lord Jesus Christ Ministries. You can check out the web site here.

It is 19 stories tall and 11 stories wide! It is so powerful. We have visited in a few times, and each time I'm moved beyond imagination. I will let the pictures do the talking... You don't need my words here....... God Bless you!

And from a previous trip, here is a picture at night!
