Happy Halloween!!!

Happy Halloween to all our friends and family! We sure hope everyone had a wonderful and safe Halloween! We had lots of fun, and it was Lil K's 1st Halloween!

We had so much fun making a special Halloween meal. We iced our cookies and then did some brownies. We iced them witih orange, then used hershey kisses to make a jack o lantern face. It was lots of fun! Then for dinner we made mummy dogs! They turned out too cute! Then I was making a frozen pizza for something fast too. We took the pepperoni off and rearranged it to make a jack o lantern face. We had planned more for dinner, but we received a call and head out early!

The girls were having fun being silly while taking pictures by our pumpkins today! They were just too darling! I am so blessed to have my girls!!! They are the sparkles in my eyes, the rays of sunshine in my days, and everything to me! It is the best feeling in the world!
Then we were off to trick or treating! We stopped by only our friends places. Lil E thought that was super awesome! Lil K didn't much care for seeing others in their costumes.

We went to the Church, They were doing Trick or Trunks and a lil carnival for the kiddos! It was a lot of fun! They were even taking free photos to mail to you of your kids tonight. Lil E had a blast playing the games! She got to play several. She really liked the pumpkin toss and the pumpkin tic tac toe!

After all this, we were home to get settled for bed! I told Lil E Happy Halloween and did she have a nice Halloween? She told me, Yes it was the Best and I had a GREAT day!!! It melted my heart! It makes everything I do so much better! It really makes me smile and be thankful for all I have been blessed with through my daughters! Lil E has taught me so very much!
I sure hope your Halloween was just as grand as ours!!

Balls of Fun!!!

We had a great weekend this past weekend! Daddy was busy helping someone do some moving, so the girls and I spent some girl time in the other town, went to the zoo and shopping and even visited with some friends! It was wonderful!!! We had dinner at Outback Steakhouse, and tried the new Chicken Quesadillas. They are awesome! The honey mustard inside and for dipping really was something. We even ended up making them Sunday night at home.

The girls had a blast at the zoo! Lil E really loves all the animals! Her favorites are the monkeys and any of the cat family. And they had so much fun on the playground too! Mommy was over joyed watching them.

They have had the best of time this week playing with a new toy, it's a ball pit! The girls have played in it more than anything they have played with. They go in and out and play so good together.

I hope yall have been doing well! Sorry we haven't been here, we ended up with a lil bug and just haven't been around. Hope yall have a blessed week!

What FUN

We had such a fun fall crafting afternoon! We did crafts and decorated halloween cookies! It was too much fun!

First off we tie dyed the shirts orange, then washed and dryed them to set them.

This is nice and wet, rinsed, and ready to be washed.

The color is lighter after washing and drying, but super cut.

Then we painted jack o lantern faces on the shirts with black paint. Lil E had so much fun, she did the face and made sure to put eye brows, hair, and teeth on her pumpkin, she said. I did the face for baby Lil K's shirt. Too cute!!!

I am truly impressed with the way they turned out! And the girls will be wearing them this weekend!

After this, we even baked up some Halloween Funfetti cookies and iced and decorated them.

It's the little things in life that make the greatest memories! Have a lil fun! Both were simple and easy, and made for some happy kids! (as I did this with Lil E and her friends.)
I wish you all a wonderful and blessed weekend.

Gotcha

WOW O WOW!!! Today is a 4th Anniversary Gotcha Day for Lil E! What a special day! I flew to where she was being cared for. When I arrived there, she was so upset and fussing. She had been for a couple of days because of her shots. I picked her up and instantly starting talking to her and rocking and singing to her, and right away she rested and went to sleep. They said I was the only one who had calmed her down in days. She just needed her mommy!!! Time has flew by and I tell you what, I am over joyed to have my girl! She is getting so big and growing up into such a special young lady! One of her favorite things to do is bake, so today we did just that! We made some cookies! Then she picked out dinner! It was truly a special day! But more importantly my life is special because of the gifts from God I have received! Adoption is truly the most precious blessing! God knew all along!

I wanted to post some favorite memories, but man I can't even begin to tell you the joy in our hearts for every minute!!! So I'll share a lil bit about my sweetie!!!
Lil E has alwasy been Lil Miss Personality! She loves people and will talk your ear off. She wants to take care of everyone, and is super logical and smart! She loves to run and play. She loves being a big sister!

And today she said "I make a wish with all my heart, thank you Jesus for my sweet mommy!" Now if that isn't the sweetest words to hear I just don't what could be. That is just how loving she is!!!

And the lil clown she is too! Oh man, she will do anything to make someone laugh! And she loves her baby sister and loves being a big sister! She loves to play this lil piggy with Lil K's toes. And she really loves to play in their room together! It is brings such a smile to my heart!

I can recall the very first black Friday her and I went shopping! She was still so tiny. She was a lil trooper! She got many ooes and aahhs and smiles! But it was just such a sweet day!
I can remember her first learning to walk and how she would waddle to the water sprinkler to check it out while dad was watering the yard...

Or when we moved and her first playing on the ice.. It was the cutest thing in the world to watch her stand up on the ice. Didn't take her long to start running on the ice!

She has a vivid imagination and can pretend play everything, from house, to dolls, cars, and so much more! She loves to do crafts and color too!

Every moment we have it a special gift from God!!!!

Lil E, baby girl, I will always love and protect you!!!

Beautiful Saturday!

We had a great day today. Saturdays are our family days. We do things together as a family. Once hubby was home today from working last night, and after our breakfast, he was taking a lil nap and I started sewing. I actually made each of the girls something. Lil K has a dress, and Lil E has a shirt. They turned out too cute! So they were modeling the first one today, and then I finished then 2nd one tonight. So I can't wait until tomorrow to take some more pictures of them both in their lil outfits. We just did lots of lil things today together! It is always so nice! I'm thankful for the family time, even if we aren't doing anything spectacular! The togetherness is awesome!

Hope yall have a blessed Sunday.

Hugs and Blessings,
