I tell you this is one of their best cookbooks ever! In recent years, a few freinds have said that the quality of some of the recipes haven't been as good. But this is one awesome cookbook! It is full of wonderful recipes. I do not think any one could ever be disappointed in this cookbook!!! I entered both recipes, without ever thinking they would be picked for a Christmas book! This is even better, as Christmas is my favorite time of the year!!!
And something so exciting to me, in the summary about the cookbook, one of my recipes is listed!!! WOW! Sure makes me proud. *big smiles*
Here's one of my recipes in this cookbook ~
White Chocolate Popcorn
5 to 6 pkgs, butter flavored microwave popcorn, popped
24 oz pkg of white melthing chocolate or almond bark, chopped
6 (1.4 oz) of Nestles white chocolate crunch candy bars, chopped
Pour popcorn into a large bowl, removing any unpopped kernels. Combine chocolates in a large heavy saucepan over low heat. Cook and stir until melted and smooth. Pour over popcorn and mix well. Spread out on wax paper to cool. Package in small bags for gift giving. You can also sprinkle while chocolate is still warm, as soon as you spread out on the wax paper, with color sprinkles to make it festive for each holiday or special occassion.
