Just a sweet kind of day

Happy Tuesday! Hope you had a wonderful day! Our day was fun! We started out slow and then we had just enjoyed it all. The kids had funny feeding the horses today. Today the horses had bread for their treat, and they loved it! Pretty girl actually wanted the snack. She doesn't enjoy treats as much as Buddy. But today she sure did!

Lil E loves playing with her friend, R. He and her have the silliest conversations! Today they cracked us up!!! I'll share their conversation with you.

R ~ Hey E we are going to have a garage sale.
E ~ I know, we already did that last week you silly goose!
R ~ Mom E says I'm a moose

Even though it was silly and simple, it just totally cracked us moms up today! But then tonight it made me realize, just even in one line, how one child heard something different. We all do this, we hear something different that it was said or meant and then before you know it, the story really is different! So for me, I'm going to pray that God help me hear all the way is said and meant.

After lunch, we did the ice cream in the zip lock bags. They kids had so much fun! They loved it! And were very impressed with the outcome! Lil E had fun putting in the ingredients and then acting silly while shaking it up! My friend and I said, it could be great arm excercises for us. She held a bag in each arm and did arm circles and such! I just was shaking away with one in each hand. Everyone did enjoy the end result and the fun we had together making it.

Zippy Ice Cream

gallon size freezer zip lock bag
quart size freezer zip bag
ice
6 TBSP of rock salt
1/2 c. cream
1 TBSP sugar
1/4 tsp vanilla

Fill gallon size freezer bag 1/3 to 1/2 full of ice. Add in 6 tablespoons of rock salt. Then in the quart size freezer bag add, in order, cream, sugar, and vanilla. Zip close and place into the large zip bag. Close it and shake the back around for about 15 minutes. Enjoy the ice cream and can top with anything you desire. (Crushed candy or cookies, topping sauce, etc.)

After our snack, the girls and Mommy, enjoyed a nice afternoon nap! It was such a wonderful treat to mom! We don't get that to often!

Hugs and Blessings,
