SCT Cheesy Ham and Potatoes

Welcome to another Slow Cooking Thursday. You may click on the banner above and be taken over to, Sandra's, and there you will find many awesome crock pot recipes.

Cheesy Ham and Potatoes

1 (28oz -32oz) bag of frozen hashbrown cubes
1 small onion, diced
1/2 green bell pepper, diced
ground black pepper, to taste
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 1/2 lbs of ham (cube or slice up)
1/2 cup water
1 (8 oz) bag of grated Velveeta cheese
1 can of evaporated milk

Break up the hash browns in the bag and pour into the crockpot. Add in the onion, bell pepper, black pepper, and garlic. Stir it all up. Add in the ham, and stir again. Add water and cook on high for 4 hours. Add milk and grated cheese. Stir really well. Cook for about 30 minutes. Enjoy!

I thought this would be a great recipe to share, as many have left over ham from Easter Dinner and are looking for something different to do with it. It is really yummy!

Hugs and Blessings,

Patty, this sounds great! I made another cheesey potatoe recipe of yours a few weeks ago and even posted about it. I don't know if you saw it, but we loved it! Thanks for another one that I know we'll love!

This looks tasty... I might have to try this. :)
I also just love your Easter pictures, especially of the girls in the flowers. I've got some seeds to plant out front and I think there's some bluebonnet in there... I'll let you know when they pop up.
Missed seeing you online today. Hopefully we'll get to chat again soon!
