It's been awhile

Sorry it has been awhile. I hope everyone is doing wonderfully. How was your weekends? I hope yall had a great weekend! Ours was super busy, witih the baby shower and my sister and girls coming in too. Then Monday I had a migrain, so I wasn't here again. And yesterday was weather troubles. So I am back now. Whew, and I am so glad! Being as we have satellite internet, it is very easily taken out with weather issues.

The baby shower turned out great! Everyone loved it. We had ordered cupcakes to look like baby rattlers, and they were a huge hit! We are so thankful that our friend made them for us. And we were proud to have them on our table!

After my sister arrived, the girls went out to dinner and the the park and such. Hubby had went to the races, to help our friend with their car. He is going to be helping them out, as a pit crew member. So he is happy! I have to say he was so so happy when he pit crewed in the past! I know he would rather drive his own, but for now, this is something he will get to really enjoy! So the girls and I took too a little fun! My niece is a Senior and we took some pictures too! She loved our park!

How sweet is this, the girls hand in hand, walking on the sidewalk! I just love love love it!

Everyone had a really good time. I was so glad to get to spend more time with my sister! She is everything to many! She is a wonderful person, a huge inspiration to me. I can't imagine dealing day in and day out with her illness and still wanting to do anything! She has the strongest faith of anyone I have ever known! She was and will always be my bestest friend of all! I'm so blessed to have her and hubby as my best friends! Each have their roll, but it's awesome!!! She is truly something special to me! And I hope she knows just that! Reba's song My Sister, is so special to me, because it is her and I! She is my sister, my best friend!

Monday was our only nice day this week. So later in the day, I got up enough to go see the girls and daddy play outside. It was really a fun time. Everyone loves bubbles! So that is just what momma ordered, bubble time. I was like, I'll be right back. I went right into the house and got out some new bubbles to go with the old bubbles and we had lots of fun! The girls love chasing bubbles. And for some unknown reasons, bubbles always make me smile! Maybe it's the kid in me.

Look at that big group of bubbles and the one big bubble. She was so so excited about the big bubbles.

Lil K was just as happy to have some bubble play too! She would wave the wond and throw the bubbles around or kiss it instead of blowing the bubbles. It was precious!!!!!!

Daddy was busy blowing bubbles for the girls to chase!

A Beautiful end to a beautiful day! Thank, God, for our family and the special times you allow us to have!

That is what we have been up to! Since that time, we have been blessed with some wonderful rain! It was ever so needed! We have been in a drought, and had lots of fire issues this year, but we have rain again. What a blessing!!! And we are so so so thankful for it!
