This week I am going to share a comfort recipe with you all. This is a recipe I grew up with. Mom would make them often for snacks and they are so yummy!!!!

Peanut Butter and Jelly Bars

3 c. unsifted flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 c. butter, softened
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. grape jelly
12 oz pkg peanut butter chips

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cut in butter until it resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in beaten eggs. Stir until smooth. Reserve ½ of mixture. Press ½ of mixture on bottom of greased 9 x 13 pan. Spread jelly over crust in pan. Sprinkle with 1 c. peanut butter chips over jelly. Crumble remaining doguh over chips. Bake at 375 for 30 – 35 min, or until lightly brown. Remove from oven, sprinkle remaining chips, cool. Cut into squares.

Hope you enjoy!

Hugs and Blessings,
