Great Teacher Gifts

This week is such a fun show us your life, over at Kelly's Korner! Be sure to check out all the other great ideas for fun teacher gifts!

Not only as a parent, but as a former Pre-School and Pre-K teacher, I am going to share what are some of my favorite gifts to give, and what I loved receiving!

Who doesn't like the aroma of a GREAT candle! But many don't like the open flame for safety or health reasons, as well as at most schoold you are not allowed to have an open flame candle in use! But rest assured, I have the greatest alternative to your traditional candles! Scentsy Wickless Candles make awesome gifts! Since there is no flame, as they are heated with a light bulb, they are safe! And the wax does not get to hot, that it will burn you. And since there is no flame, there is no soot, and this allows for a greater scent strength too!!!!! You can get various sizes of warmers and 80 plus scents to pick from!!! Below is a favorite scent and an awesome new warmer that would be beyond perfect for a teacher!!!! You can check out my Scentsy site for more information on these and other great products!

I also love to give personalized gifts, and I did love to get them too. Who am I kidding I still do! For all my embordery and applique gifts, I use Cowgirl Creations or you can find her on facebook! There is so many great options here!!!! She does personalized hand towels, aprons, tote bags, purses, and so much more! I love this idea for not only teacher gifts, but for all gifts for everyone and every occassion! And she will have something for just about everyone you know!

The above hand towel I had ordered a set of for a breast cancer SURVIVOR! But she has done many different things on them! You can just get them monogramed or something more on!

The apron above would be great if you put an apple on it or a school house or anything "teacher or school" and the Teacher's name! And it would save their clothes during art time!!! And they would appreciate that greatly! I know I loved aprons in the class! (Especially for preschool and early grades.)

Above is one of the many tote bag options! I used this one, becuase not only could it be done up for a school teacher with an apple, school bus, school house, or other school stuff, but look at this one! What a great gift for your childs Church nursery or Sunday School Teacher, or even a Christian Private School Teacher gift! So many possibilities! And you know they can always use cute totes! Or you could go with a simple monogram too!!!
Below is a custom made purse! You could do just about anything! If you knew what their hobbies were, a favorite team, or just a general print!!!!

Another great and fun option that is always awesome, is personal spa products! I love everything Mary Kay and fully believe in their products! But I'm not the only one! They are America's #1 selling cosmetic brand! This just gives that teacher something to relax with and treat her body nicely!! If you don't have a Mary Kay Consultant, I have a wonderful one for you!!!! Click HERE! I love the newer perfum line that you can also get the lotion and shower gel with too! My personal favorite is the Passion Fruit!
I think this is a super fun gift, especially for the teacher/ cheer coach out there! You can custom order flip flops with your school colors! How awesome is that! She makes great flip flops and such! Just think about that cheer coach or any coach with a fresh pedi and a school spirited pair of flip flops! They will be rockin'! You can get them at Heavenlee Hairbows!

My other suggestions that are always loved or personalized or cute stationary and note pads! And personalized or initial pens! Make up a cute gift set with them! If you are into scrapbooking and card making, that is an awesome way to decorate up a paint can and fill it with all sorts of little goodies for the teacher! Or even a basket with a cute liner or decorated up! Maybe a monogramed insulated cup and some cute stationary with a precious pen!!! Anything cute little supplies they would use regularly! They will use them!

And always, homemade gifts of any kind are great! Homemade breads or candies, and all that yummy stuff! Or scarfs or throws, or anything really!!!! One of my favorite gift I ever gave was a homemade quilt! We did the iron on transfers with letters from the kids to the teacher, and the inside had a class picture! It was so sweet and really cute! Something she will get to remember for years to come!

And at Christmas, yes yes ornament are awesome! Love with the child putting or parents putting their kids name and year on the bottom or back! I still hang my ornaments from years ago on the tree and it reminds me of those special precious darlings!!!! What a great treat, year after year!!!! Some of my favorites are the Disney ones, as you know when it is from by remembering what movie was the big kid movie of that year!

I hope some of these ideas have helped you or sparked something for you! I am not a big gift card giver, even though many love them! I like something a little more personalized!

Hugs and Blessigns,
