Easter trip and Egg Hunt

It was a wonderful Good Friday for us! We had to run some errands, and packed everything up to head out of town. We decorated cupcakes for the Family Egg Hunt too.

While we were baking cupcakes, before we could get them decorated, Lil K had helped herself to a cupcake.

Lil E was busy decoroating the cupcakes for our Family and Friends Egg Hunt.

Dressed and ready to head out to Mammaw and Grandaddy's! We can't wait to see everyone and have lots of fun! We always have our Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday before Easter, so that everyone can come. We have family and friends that come, and lots of eggs, lots of fun, and so much fun!

We were getting ready to get in the car and head out! The girls had to wear their bunny in the truck dresses, so that Grandaddy could see them, since he has an old truck!

11 years ago, everyone got to meet my wonderful husband for the very first time! He was introduced to everyone at one time on that Saturday! They were in shock, as I did not ever bring someone home to meet the family, and for sure not meet everyone. So they knew that day he was the one! As I already knew!!! Easter has always been a favorite Holiday and time of mine, and it sure is now!!!

Saturday was the big day! Everyone comes to my parents, all 3 of us girls, and our kiddos, and their kiddos too! Then cousins and friends! It's so much fun!

Everyone plays different games outside, sits and chats, or just whatever they want! And then you might even find some people in the house catching a little nap here or there!

Cousins make some of the BEST Friends!!! Just look at these two! They are always up to something! They are just a few months apart in age. And since their momma's are so close, they didn't have a choice, but to be best buds!

EGG HUNT TIME!!!!!!!!!

Everyone is lined up and ready to hunt osme eggs!!! Ok, are you ready? Yes they are!..............
GO!

And they are off! Can you believe there was over 600 eggs! And only 9 kiddos! We are all to bring at least 1 dozen of plastic eggs filled with candy or something per each child you bring! But as you can guessed it, like most things in Texas, we do it bigger! And so we all brought lots of eggs!!! We had almost over 500 in plastic eggs. Then we had chalk eggs, hard boiled eggs, and candy eggs too. It was crazy, but lots of fun!!! Eggs, eggs, everywhere! Lots of shapes, lots of colors, all kinds! It's just an egg crazy fun time! (we took regular eggs from past years, just refilled. Cupcake Eggs, carrot eggs, butterfly and flower eggs too!)

Mommy and her little Mini Me! Yes that's right, that's my Mini Me right there! My Sweet Lil E! She does just about everything like her momma!

What is that???? Oh I know! It was now time for the special confetti eggs that come out after the egg hunt!!! And Lil E sure loved cracking, she didn't even care if it was on someone, just to see the confetti made her happy!

She was getting her daddy!!! He sure was a great sport!

Even Lil Bitty Bit was excited for all the fun!!
We had so much yummy food! We had baked hams, potato salad, pinto beans, corn bread, deviled eggs, veggies, bananna pudding, cup cakes, peach cobbler, and lemon pie! YUMMY!!!! It was all so very good!!!!!

My oldest sister and her hubby got all their grand kids bunnies, so later that evening when it was just my parents, us, and my niece with her hubby and two little girls, they brought out the bunnies! The bunnies were a huge hit! The girls were had lots of fun playing with the bunnies and giving them loves!

Then we ended that night with more laughs while playing cards and eating tacos from Jack in the Box! YUMMY! It was really one of the BEST Easter get togethers we have had! It was so much fun!!! Now I am really looking forward to our family reunion in May! See yall there!

Hugs and Blessings,
