Crock Pot Creamy Cheesey Potatoes

1 pkg (2 pounds) frozen cubed hash brown potatoes
1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
1 1/2 cups milk
1 1/2 - 2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup dried minced onion
1/4 - 1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Mix all together in a large bowl and and then pour into 5qt crock pot and cook on low for 4 1/2 to 5 hours. (until potatoes are tender)

A really great variation of this, that we sometimes do, is in place of dried minced onions, we use chopped fresh green onions, and add in fresh crumbled bacon, (about 6 slices). Serve topped with sour cream!

Hope you enjoy, these are one of our favorite get together side dishes!

Hugs and Blessings,

(as always, if you click on the picture, it will take you to the hostess, Sandra, and you will find many more great Slow Cooking Thursday recipes.)

Patty,

This sounds wonderful! Jason and I were just talking about crock pot recipes and how much I loved my crock pot and having things ready to eat when we get home from dance lessons and all. I'm definitely trying this one. Thanks so much!
