Pinto Beans

It's another wonderful Slow Cooking Thursday, you may click on the picture, and be taken to many more great Slow Cooking recipes, thanks to our host, Sandra.

Texas Style Pinto Beans

1 lb bag of dried pinto beans, washed and picked over
7 cups of water
1 medium onion, sliced
1/4 cup of chopped cilantro
3 cloves of garlic
1 can of Ro-Tel
5 - 6 slice of thick bacon
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 tsp of fajita seasoning

Mix all together in crock pot and cook on high for about 10 - 12 hours.
Serve with corn bread or rice.

As a wonderful altrantive, we sometimes add in hot links or smoke sausage, sliced.

Hugs and Blessings
