All Day Brisket

Be sure to check out Sandra's for more great SCT recipes. As always, the click on the picture and it will take you there.

All Day Brisket
3 -4 lb lean beef brisket, trim and discard excessive fat
1 medium onion, sliced
1 tsp black pepper
1 TBS liquid smoke
1 small bottle of italian dressing

Place brisket and onion in the crock pot. Sprinkle with pepper. Pour italian dressing over brisket. Drizzle the liquid smoke on top. Place lid on and cook on low for 12 hours.

Serve with bbq sauce of your choice. As this is truly the part that each family has their own favorite bbq sauce.

Hugs and Blessings,

Sounds great. I love recipes that use Italian dressing. It gives the meats that extra kick of something.

Yummy! We are huge brisket-eaters! Not sure if it's a Kansas City thing or a fireman thing, but we eat some good BBQ around our house. I will definitely be trying this one out!
