When you wonder if your little ones are learning what you are teaching them. You are hit with the surprise. I have been sick and can't stop coughing. Last night Lil E was snuggled in my bed, and I had been coughing and had a cough drop. Then it hit me, she knows just what to do. She said "Mommy, Jesus is in your heart, if we pray he will make you better." I said aww that is sweet, can you pray? She smile the biggest and brightest smile ever and said yes. Then here it is her words, "Jesus make mommy feel better. Please take her cough away and not let her throw up anymore. Please Jesus make mommy not sick. Thank you, Jesus. Amen." Tears rolled down my face and I'll never forget that very moment. My sweet lil 4 year old daughter prayed for me! So yes, even when you think they aren't listening or getting it, they are! Keep on teaching them and praying for them.
