Day 11 and 12 (a lil late)
Ok, I am late, as I have been out of it for a couple of days! Let me share something you think is safe that could happen to anyone. When we moved, we bought one of those corner shower caddy's. So it's from the edge of the tub to the ceiling. So I spaced my shelves out, and I thought I had it done pretty good. Starting at like 2 ft, 3 ft, 4 ft, and 5 ft... That left a few feet up top, and the couple on the bottom. Well I am laying back in the tub to relax in my bubble bath, and BAM! I've been hit and then there is a couple of more! What the world! Well it was the stuff on the top self, and the first and worst hit was the jumbo sized shampoo and conditioner bottle, plus a couple of others. My ear is bruised and swelled up! But the knot on my head was horrid! After a day and half of horrid headaches, blurred vision, and so sick at my stomach. So a trip to the ER was in order. And well the outcome, is a concussion, sprained neck, and injured ear, with the blood draining from it to create a ear infection. Even though I have been sick and in pain, I am so very thankful that my girls weren't the ones there when it all came down. I mean really! It could have been a way worse outcome. So my advice to you, is not to set your shelves up that high, and watch what you put on the higher shelves. Things around our homes we don't think about how they can really hurt us or those we love, but household accidents are some of the worst and most deadly. And as I have heard of many other accidents lately from around the house, it really has me thinking about safety. Just take this into consideration and look around your house to make sure it's as safe as possible.
Ok, now on to the day 11 and 12.......
Day 11 ~ My Bucket List
Watch my girls grow up to adults
Be a grandparent
Watch my husband and girls race!
Travel to Australia
Meet a few friends in person that I have been online friends with for many years!
Go on a mission trip with my family.
Become a Scentsy Director
Day 12 ~ my poem
My heart did yearn
For my child I did Pray
I asked for years
for God to bring you my way.
A child I did desire
not any, but you
adoption was required
for me and you
to forever be, mommy and child!
There's a poem I just wrote, for my girls! Adoption is a give from God! They are my greatest blessings! And I could never have imagined, how awesome they would be, and how much better my life would be! I am so thankful for them!!!! I love you girl, both of you so very much! And so does Daddy!!! We are blessed to get to be your parents!
