Black Friday and Festival of Lights

We hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Ours was grand! Truly a wonderful day with all the family. Everyone had fun visiting and spending time together! We had a large spread of foods, that everyone contributed to. Lil K enjoyed all the great foods. She really liked the turkey. We have so much to be thankful for!

We were up early and headed to Wal Mart for the bargains at hand at 4:30 am. It's a tradition for us to get up and go. Being as my folks live in a smaller town, we didn't have any troubles. We were back home early and then had our breakfast and was getting ready to hit the road. We travelled to San Antonio, for the Festival of Lights Parade. We decided to attend this year, as Christmas Lights are one of our very favorite parts of enjoying the season. We love to go out and look at them all the time, so what better what to kick of the CHRISTmas Season, than a Parade of Lights? We enjoyed our time with my parents and they did with us and the kids. We did a little sight seeing around and then enjoyed the parade. We stopped for dinner on our way back to my parents, as Cracker Barrell, and did a lil shopping! We all just love their Christmas decorations and ornaments, so we picked up some goodies. The parade was really neat! The girls were mesmerized by the lights and all the music. Lil E loves dancing and singing so she was thrilled with all the productions on each float! It was magical if you may. It was something to for sure see! I'll share some of the photos from our awesome day. Hope you enjoy too.

and look at Lil E's expression of excitement at the river walk. She was thrilled to have a boat going under us! It was so neat to see her amazement.

My Mommy~ I just love this picture of her! She is always so much fun to be around!

And we welcome Santa and Mrs Clause to town!

It was a great kick off to the Christmas Season!

Oh what a fun time it looks like ya'll had. It's been a year since we visited San Antonio but never at Christmas time. We're going to have to do that.
