I'm Thankful for...

As Thanksgiving is approaching, I had to come and share something with all of you. Something I am so thankful for. For the gift of Adoption and Foster Families! You see we adopted Lil E and we are in the process of adopting Lil K. I'm so very thankful not only for the gift of Adoption. But for the foster mommy who took such great care of our Lil K, and has become part of our family! She is simply amazing and I love her to pieces! I wish more people realized the very important need to foster Children! Let me tell you just how wonderful she is! She didn't have to send so much with us, when we picked up Lil K. But she over loaded us with all sorts of stuff. But something so very touching, was she had bought Lil E a baby doll from her new baby sister. It was super sweet! We will always be thankful for her, for her love for Lil K and for all she did and still does! She is amazing! God blessed us with a new part of our family, not only our daughter, but her foster parents and their children!

Country Music Artist, Rodney Atkins, is the spokesman for the National Council for Adoption. And did you know that he was adopted? His story is very touching! I've come to share that the NCFA has teamed up with Wal Mart to spread the word and get the awareness out there to save these children!

Adoption is a gift of Love!!! I know many see this is a selfish act, but I am telling you, I have known many to be saved by the love from adoption! And I'm honored to have been choicen for this very blessing in our lives! And for us we see this as the highest blessing to us, that God picked and trusted us to adopt and raise our babies as our very own, just as he picked Joseph to adopt and raise Jesus on earth as his own! What could be greater? So please do, spread the word!
