alone

You really do not realize how hard it is to move away from your family, until you need something! I have struggled many times over the last couple of years, being homesick, needing someone and they are so far away. But you just don't realize when you have all your family and friends how lucky you are! You move away, and you may make some friends, but they have their old friends and their family and they don't realize how hard you have it. Then you get hurt or sick and need some help! You can't get around much, yet you are alone, you have to still do all the daily stuff, take care of the house, the kids, and all that, and how do you do this, when you are suppose to not be on that foot? Use crutches? WHAT???? That is a joke, I need to carry the baby and all, plus do the other stuff. You are on pain meds, and it only takes the edge off.... YOu can't drive, so you are stuck! Stuck at home and what happens when you need something? What is one to do? People do not realize how blessed they are to be near their own family and have their continued support! Take it from me, I'd give just about anything to be near my family! The family that is always there to help the other, no matter what is going on and no matter what they themselves are doing! May be stopping by to visit, so you aren't so lonely, maybe it's the do you need something I'm at the store call?, Maybe it's the let me bring you dinner? Or maybe even let me come do some laundry for you? Take the kids to the park so they can run off some of that energy...etc... There are just so many things that family does and you don't realize it, until you are too far away to be blessed by their presence! Being back home last week for my Aunt's funeral, really made me see how much I did miss my family, and then to get hurt this week, it only made it worse!!! Please remember your loved ones!

Oh Patty,
I can understand how you feel. If I were closer I would certainly come by, give you a big hug and pester you! *grin*

I just got home a few minutes ago and after I eat lunch I will give you a buzz back.

Looking forward to talking with you.

~Blessings and love

Boy can I relate to this...I'm completely away from family and being military we're constantly on the move too. I sometimes tell my brothers back home that they have no idea how blessed they are to have mom and dad nearby.

It's tough not having family near isn't it?

Hugs,
Sandra
