Sweetness from Today!

We were sitting down to eat dinner, and I said to James, how I was already missing our old Dish DVR. (We switched to Directv today). Anyway, he said how come, and I said all my Christmas movies are saved on it! He just smiled. So Lil K says I am being good so Santa can bring me presents. Then she said "I'm gonna get a new horse and dog. And I am gonna ask Santa for lipstick for my sister!" Awww! How sweet is that?

Then the girls started picking out what they were going to get each other....

K to get E
lip stick
play dough
coloring book

E to get K
pink nail polish
yo gabba gabba toy

And for Baby B E said she would get her a shirt that says "I love you baby onesie"!!!

Sometimes they are too sweet for words!!!!!

We have enjoyed a yummy pot of chicken and dumplings on this cool day! Almost feels like fall.

Hope you had a day full of sweetness!

Hugs and Blessings,

Christmas in July

As always, we celebrated Christmas in July! It was lots of fun!!! The girls look forward to it as much as I do!

The girls are dressed in clothes that you would wear at Christmas, and even red and green hair bows!

We watched some Christmas movies, Santa Baby 2 and The Grinch.

And we did some Christmas Crafts!

The girls painted Christmas ornaments.

Above is K's ornament, and below is E's.

I worked on some Christmas hair bows.

With the air cranked down, we snuggled up on the couch to end the night with Christmas shows on tv! It was awesome!!!

Hope you had a very Happy Christmas in July!!!!

Hugs and Blessings,

Bowling

We decided to take the girls bowling with some friends of ours. It was Lil K's first time ever to go bowling, and Lil E's 2nd time. We had a blast! The girls had a great a time learning all the different ways of bowling. As well as busy dancing! And the fact we were bowling in the dark, they found that to be the coolest thing!!!

Mommy and her girls!

Daddy and his girls

Daddy was so good and teaching the girls!

After about 4 hours of bowling, Lil K was all tuckered out! She slept on the scoring table! It was so cute!!!

Can't wait till we do this again!!! And it was so nice to be inside with AC instead of out at the track in the heat and dust!

Hugs and Blessings,

How we spent most of our July (long and lots of pictures)

We had a very good summer. It was way to hot, but we still had lots of fun! It was mostly the simple fun hanging out around the house! Nothing to fancy, no big vacation. Just lots of smiles, giggles, and many memories!

We had lots of memories made sitting out on our porch! And oh how it took me to back in time. To a time and place that drew me super close to my mom!

The girls got scooters, and have had a blast riding them!!!

And what is summer without sno cones? It wouldn't be a good summer! We are in live with Bahama Bucks!! They have the BEST Sno Cones around!! And a long awesome list of sugar free sno cones! YUMMY!!!

And the girls played and played and played! Here Lil E is busy playing like she is going to work! She has my old drill team outfit on!

And how she loves to work at her desk! From puzzles to cards and much more! Especially if she has some tape or glue to create something fun!

Lil K would rather be outside playing that just about anything at all!

Daddy and I even went for so me target shooting!!! I had not shot his gun before, and was a bit nervous of the kick.......

But it wasn't too bad! And I could do that! I want my own pink hand gun! Yes I said that, pink.

Where we go target shoot, I took this picture of girls! Just loved how it turned out.

But with the extreme heat, we had a ton of inside play! It was just way to hot out there to play for long outside. And we didn't make any trips to the park, as it was by far way way too hot!

We still had fun!! Lil E was dancing on her stage. She was dressed up and dancing to 80's music! I have totally corrupted my little sweetie pie, because she LOVES the 80's!

And she is still busy loving race cars and anything to do with them! Even when it means fixing her own race cars! She is always hard at race car work, one way or another. IF she isn't helping her daddy on his car, she is pretending with a riding toy or the hot wheels inside even.

Lil K is busy being the coolest princess around!! She loves to wear one of the many princess dress up outfits around! She loves to spin like a princess too.

Even though we had lots of fun inside, we sure needed to play outside. So many times, at dark we would be outside playing!

The girls love to dig in the dirt and play in the water! They are so not city girls! They love the country life!!! We flooded our sidewalk, so they could have some water puddle fun!!

K was busy swimming and splashing!

but Lil E was busy, racing through the water! She was muddin'.

They love the country life so much! They will catch some bugs and critters! So not girly girls when it comes to this! They love to chase and catch frogs!

E is so good about showing K the critters. This little frog keep them entertained for a couple of hours.

We went to a really neat restraunt. The food is good, but the memorabilia is even neater! They girls even loved the rest room and mirrored hall way. It's called The Country Barn.

We had a garage sale, went bowling (that post is coming), had Christmas in July (post coming), and went to our family Girls' weekend (post coming), as well! Other than that, we just had a lot of fun around the house! We loved it!! I really like kicked back relaxing life!

Hope yall have enjoyed your summer, and even managed to stay cool! I know it was way to hot!
