Today makes 6 months
Today is 6 months since I lost the one person I knew would always love me unconditionally and support me and my best source of advice! I said good bye to my mom, and as much as I know she loved me, it doesn't much help! I miss her so much, and to see how much my girls miss her, it breaks my heart worse. Then to hear and watch my dad's heart ache, it's just too much! Don't let anyone say time heals! My Momma taught me, time never heals, it only becomes easier to cope with, and it's so true!!! And then there are days it's not easy and it's pure hell!!!! Today we went to Church at their Church, and it was my first time to go for Service since the day before we lost Momma, and yet, it was so hard, I needed her! I wanted her! And I know she was looking down, but I sure did need her! Then we had a cookout and I wanted her to be the one to be cutting up the veggies and not me, because it was always what she did. She liked to do it, and did it perfectly!!! So I cried and then tonight I just can't keep it in! I am a mess!!!!
Momma, we love you and miss you so much! But are so thankful for everything you did for all of us! You are the BESTEST!!!!!!

A wonderful DAY!!!!
We are in town visiting my dad! The girls are having a wonderful time with Grandaddy!!! It has done us all some good! We sure miss Momma, but we have had lots of smiles this visit, and peace, that none of us have had in awhile.
Yesterday we ate dinner out, after a day of being on the road for doctor appointments. Tomorrow is Church and a cook out with my sisters. And then Monday I have more doctor appointments. Then I will be heading back home on Tuesday.
But today was WONDERFUL!!!!! We had a great time. We got up and ran some errands. Then we came back and had lunch. Then we took the girl to the park! They had so much fun!!! It was a warm and humid 90* today here! Even with that, we still managed to have a great time!Lil K was so proud that she had made it up the rock wall all by herself!!!
From general play ground play to pirates to fire fighters and much more! It was a GRAND time!
Lil K on the camel has to be a favorite of mine! She kept hugging it, like it was real! She would say "I ove it Mommy!"
After our afternoon trip the park, we came back and chilled out around here! Grandaddy and the girls went for their ride to check the mail! They all have fun!!!
Something so sweet and so heart warming, and yet so sad! Sad to see not only my own pain of missing my Momma, but to see my kids miss her so much! Lil E is really missing her! Both are! And they talk about her nearly every day, and most of the time lots of times a day. This afternoon, lil E made a party for Mamaw, so she wont be lonely in Heaven without us! she set up all kinds of friends and fun things around Mamaw Angel picture, on the table. (see pic below) She is really so sweet! Glad the girls got to know Momma!!! She was their favorite by far!!!
I made Dad some yummy tacos for dinner tonight! Well for all of us, but he really did want them and enjoyed them!!! My dear friend, Deborah and her girls came to visit us!! They had dinner with us and the we took the girls to the park again!!! They had the BEST time and we played until it was way dark!Lil E and her best friend, Em, had a great time!!! They are the same age, and had no choice but to be best friends, because their mommas were! We have been friends since Jr High and knew each other in middle school!!!! We always wanted our kids to be together and be close! They girls play so good together! Wish were lived close enough to spend lots more time together. But it's always great when we are together.
And look at Lil E she did the monkey bars all by herself tonight!!!!!! Yeah!!!!!
Hope yall are having a great weekend too!!!
Hugs and Blessings,
Something big around the corner!
I had my meeting with my surgeon yesterday, for bariatric surgery. I should have my insurance approval in a week and then it will be scheduled. I am really excited to know this is 97% to cure my psuedotumor cerebri. I can't wait to feel good and therefore, be able to be a better person all the way around, but especially a better wife and momma!!!! It's not something that I want to take over this blog with, but it's part of my life!

Day 24, Favorite Scripture
2 Timothy 1:7
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
This is one of my favorites! And in the process of adopting the first time there was a point of the birth mom going back and forth and this and that..... And I was totally distraught and scared of this not working out for us, because no one on earth could love my Lil E like we do! My dear friend calls me out of the blue and says I have a message, God has laid on my heart, and just know you aren't to be in fear any longer!!! I was like for real? And that night in my sleep this scripture was spoken to me in a very powerful voice! I knew that at that point, I was not to have fear, but to let God handle this, just as I had always been taught!
In so many other times, this is a scripture that gets me through.
What about you? What's your favorite and why?
