Our Weekend

We have been so busy this weekend! Friday hubby got canceled at work, so he was home an extra day with us. We did all our running around and grocery shopping then. Yesterday we worked on projects around the house. Then today was not as busy, but yet busy too. I visited with my family on the phone a while. Daddy made pancakes for breakfast, both regular and blueberry. It was our first time to have blueberry ones. They were so good. Then we did a little more around the house. Then the girls and I decorated ornaments and Lil E and I made a link chain and she decided to put it on the tree. I made a pot of chicken and dumplings for dinner tonight. They were wonderful! I did a lot of time crying missing mom. Spent some really important time with hubby, sharing our feelings, and tears together! Then the sweetest of all moments came. Lil E went and got her Christmas bear, and she brought it to me and said here, it will make you smile! So at that point I hugged it and her. Then the four of us played and laughed and giggled so much. Our evening was much happier and full of GREAT times! Making memories as a family! A daddy was busy being an elf and was hard at work out in the garage. Then we watched a Christmas movie and chilled out! So tomorrow we will be painting some little gifts. Then Tuesday and Wednesday we will be doing our baking! Lots of goodies to bake and share! Oh and this weekend, we set the move date and even booked our uhual! I am so excited about the move! So all in all it was a wonderful weekend with my family!!!!

I'm Lovin' It ~ Holly Bloggy

Here's a collage of pieces I am really loving! Each has a special place in my heart for one reason or another! It might be something silly, or it may be full of treasured memories! It's all part of why I love to decorate for Christmas! There isn't anything I don't love about decorating for Christmas! As most know, it's my most favorite time of the year! I love ornaments, gingerbread men, bows that we make for packages, custom outfits for the girls, and all the other decorations from pieces in my kitchen, knick knacks, and each and every one of my Nativities! I love it all!!!

So I am linking up to Tidy Mom's Lovin' It, Christmas Edition, that rounds up this week's Holly Bloggy! I hope you all enjoy! And go by and check out all the other great things that people love!

Sneak Peak at our new home!

Here's a sneak peak at where we are moving to! I am really excited, and I can't wait to move! I love the house! It's nice and spacious and a great lay out! The big move is in Jan. Today we packed up a lot of my scrapbooking and misc stuff! So that was nice!!!

What an answer to prayers this home was! We had all but given up! And I said, we will find the place when God is ready! And out of no where, much sooner than we had expected, we get the call about this place! God is faithful, it's not our timing, it is his. I really need more patience. But it all is working out GREAT!

Hugs and Blessings,

Thanksgiving to the end of Nov Fun (lots of pics)

It was the eve of Thanksgiving, and all my turkeys were running wild!

I did manage a few pictures and then it was back to being silly!

Thanksgiving Day, being the first without Momma, was really hard. But then I realized I had not only Lil E's old dress I made and Momma painted, that I had one that we did for my friends daughter, than she has given me back! So a piece of Momma/ Mamaw was with us all.

Outside with the deep frying turkey man!

After dinner we busted out the tunes on the Karaoke machine! We had some fun!

Black Friday, I didn't want to hit the stores. This time without mom, just didn't feel right. So I had a nice relaxing calm start to our day! The girls were so excited that the leaves had finally fallen!!!!

Daddy and I even laid down in the leaves! It was awesome!

Then we headed out to the store and such. Nothing to exciting!

Then the next day, it was time to make a pile and really play in the leaves! So we all did! It was tons of fun!!!!

Lil E even had to make leaf angels for us!

And look what Lil K had to get out of the garage to play with. The Beach ball!

Then the best of all was watching Lil E help sister swing while she was swinging too! In her words, so they both could have a lot of fun on the swings! Nothing better than sweet sisters!

That's how the end of our month went! Lots of playing in the leaves finally!!! It sure took them a long time to fall this year. But we are glad they finally did!!!

It's a .. I'll have .........

Not sure if it's more like ~ It's like a hard candy Christmas, I'm barely getting through..... or is more like ~ I'll have a blue blue Christmas without you. I'll be so blue just thinking about you!.......

That's how I feel right now! This being the first Christmas that Mom is celebrating with Jesus, and it's hard! I am sad! And I cry every single day! I can't even describe the pain! I know it's life, and God must of needed her more than we do. But I'm a baby and I wanted and needed my Momma! I wasn't ready for her to being singing with the Angels! And yet I know she has to be smiling so big and bright! She is with her Mom and dad, her best friend (My God Mother), she is holding her first born child, my dear sister, Tina, and rocking those great grandsons, Hunter and Kyle! I know she is elated and she isn't hurting. But I'm only human, and I'm a baby! I want her!!!! Not that I don't want all of them, but I really do need my Momma! So this Christmas Season is hard! Beyond belief! I wish I could turn back time, just one more day! One more time could I hear her sing our song "Blue Bird" or as you all know it, Walking in a Winter Wonderland! I want to hear her sing to my girls again! Momma and I always stayed up all night long on Christmas eve baking together! And you know what, I just don't have it in me at all to bake this year. I don't have a desire. I know I need to, but more than that I need my Momma! Our favorite Christmas movie together was The Gathering, and it is such an emotional movie anyway, but now it's extremely emotional! Almost too much for me to stand!!! I want to go to Church with Momma Christmas Eve. I want her so much! I'm really blessed because of her, and I'm so thankful for each every memory and moment I had with her! She is truly the GREAT Angel I have ever known! I love you Momma and miss you so much!!!!

That's what I have been up, part of why I haven't blogged more. Just haven't been with it. Didn't figure anyone wanted to read about me being a cry baby. But this blog is about our live, and how we are doing and what's going on. So I had to be real!

Thank you for making it through this with me!!! Go hug your Mom or call her and tell her you love her!!!

Hugs and Blessings,

11 years

We just celebrated 11 years!!! (Dec 4) And Momma, he's good!!! As the Carrie Underwood Mama's Song says!!! I couldn't have picked a better soul mate, if I had tried! God truly knew what he was doing, when I didn't follow my check list anymore! Btw, if you haven't watched the movie The Ugly Truth, you should! It's a lot like that. I had this check list, and my Mr Right, wasn't at all my check list! Instead I am blessed even more! Now I have the GREATEST best friend, my soul mate, partner, my everything!!!!

We had a great day! We took it easy, took the girls to see Santa, just ran around. Then we met some friends for dinner that night! It was lots of fun!

After all that, we ended our night out looking at Christmas lights!!! My favorite thing to do during the Christmas Season!!!! Just wish it was as magical as the movies, in a sled, and with lots of snow! One can dream, can't she?

James, Thank you for being everything you are to me! I can't imagine my life without you!! You are the most wonderful! And I hope you know that I love you more every day, and I really hope I get to love you last, forever and always!

Hugs and Blessings,
