Spring is in the Air!!!

We love spring!!! It's beautiful and warm and not too hot, and yet some days still cool! It's full of pretty colors, and lots of New things!

We spent our last day of March having a picnic at the park and having a little fun!!! We had so much fun!!!!

Even Lil K was going to share her onion ring with you! Sometimes we pick up lunch to take, and sometimes we pack a lunch. Either way, it's always fun!!!!!!
Oh oh oh!!!! LOOK
Lil E found her a lady bug!! She loves lady bugs, just like her momma! A true sign of spring! Thank you, God, for all the beautiful Spring wonders you give us!!!

Then it was time for some play ground fun!!!!!! As you can see, we have lots of fun at the park!!!!!

And we had time for a few little Easter practice too! Not that they needed any, but they wanted to play with there baskets! So that is what we did!

Happy Spring!!! Enjoy it all!!!
Hugs and Blessings,

Palo Duro Canyon

The day after our adoption, we went for a day trip to Palo Duro Canyon. My mother in law had always dreamed of seeing a canyon, and since it's the 2nd largest in size in the USA, we decided to take her and enjoy some of God's beauty as well!

This was taking at top, just after entering the State Park.

Yes yes, you see that right! We watched deer!!!! This beauty above, looked up from eating, when I'd make a small sound to get her attention. She would stop and look and let me take the picture and go back to eating!!! We seen deer and turkey and various birds. It is really a beautiful place!!!

The girls had so much fun playing! They carried rocks around to build or write with in the dirt! Used sticks to draw in the dirt and just run around and make us all laugh!

These pictures do not do it justice! It is beautiful! Remarkable!! We plan to go again soon, and hopefully catch the beautiful wild flowers in bloom!!! They even have a few cabins you can rent! And you don't know what creatures you might see out there! There is several areas for camping and playing! And places that have horse back rides through the Canyon too. And in the summer, there is a Musical Preformance of "TEXAS" that is held at the theater in the Canyon. It's all about the history of the Canyon... So you might just want to check out Palo Duro Canyon.
Hugs and Blessings,

It's Official!!! Adoption Day was here....

Finally we are at the special day!!!

It was so early in the morning and the girls weren't too pleased to be getting up so early! But we all did GREAT!
Being as we are states away from the originating state of Lil K's placement, we were able to be sworn in, in our home state. So we did this at our local Municipal Court with a notary and Judge here, via phone conference with the granting Judge and all the lawyers and case worker in the other state. Along with Lil K's Godmother and my friend!

Here's a picture of the Judge in the other state (Thank you, Patti, for this photo!!!). He was actually signing the approved adoption here!!! What a BEAUTIFUL moment!!!!

And us again with our local Judge.

Our forever family!!!!!!!

These two pictures will be framed and placed near big sisters adoption Day pictures, that are similar!

A favorite of mine! All ofo ur hands together!!! So sweet and so true! We will always be there to help each other, encourage each other, we will always be together!!!!!

Back to our house for celebrating and cake!!!

I did cover the remaining name on the cake....... This cake was made my our friend Tanya. How sweet and special!!!!!! Thank you so much!!!
We had lots of fun! And some great people to celebrate with us too. Both sets of Grandparents were here, and Aunt Suzie. Then Cathleen, Patsy, and Tom & Lila were here too! We had a wonderful cook out and fun time with everyone here! It was really special!!!!

This cake came to us, via CASA. So sweet of them!

It's officially final, and we had spent the day having a great time with everyone. Then that afternoon, it was a nice relaxing time doing what they love, jumping on the trampoline! Yes you read that right, Daddy put the trampoline back up that afternoon! (it had to be left down for awhile in the adoption process).... But it's up and we are enjoying it now!!!!!

Our perfect family!!!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't be more happy!!!!!!

Hugs and Blessings,
ONE Happy Family!!!!

Happy Easter

He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. - Isaiah 53:5-6

Because he died for us, and then rose, we shall celebrate this beautiful Resurrection Day!
May you have not just a day of blessings, but a life time of blessings, that only our Lord can bring!

Happy Easter!

I can not ............

Keep the joy inside!!!! Did yall hear me screaching and screaming with joy???? I'm sure you did, even those far far away!!! We finally have our court date to finalize our adoption of Lil K! What a blessing!!!! Thank you, Jesus!!!! How sweet it is!!!

These two pictures were taken the first day we got Lil K home, nearly 2 years ago! What a sweet little love bug she was! How precious!!! And man, I can't tell you, just how happy Lil E was and so proud of her baby sister!!!!! And I was a beaming at the joy of my 2 girls!

Then here is a picture of my sweet Lil K (last week). I can't get over all the time that has passed, how much she has grown and how much she has learned and can do! What a little beauty she is!
Our family is so very happy and excited, and we can't thank each person enough that has played a huge roll in this! We have some very special family and friends that have encouraged us, and listend to us and kept us going through love, support, and prayers this entire journey!!! I can not believe what started out in Dec of 2007 will finally become official in March 2010! But rest assured, even before I held that sweet little darling, I knew she was mine! And I knew God would make a way and get us through this process completely!
Hugs and Blessings,
(this very happy, excited, and totally over joyed mommy!)

Sign, Sealed, and in Route!

This envelope that we had so over night out (and we didn't get to use Fed Ex), it is very important stuff! Friday we received our adoption petition and such from the attorney, so we had to go get it signed and notarized, and all that good stuff! Then we had to drive to UPS (it was late and the only place we could get to in time), to send it out over night! So it was signed, and sealed and ready to go! And was soon in route to the Attorney for Monday delivery! We will have our court date this week, so it will be by the end of the month, for Lil K's adoption to be final! :) I am so excited!!!!!!

My Girls and Adoption

It's been an emotional time here lately. We have been busy with getting every thing to the final stages for the adoption, and with each moment, we feel we are closer, it has not been the case! But I have been reminded that I'm blessed! And these girls are the kids I prayed for, I asked God for these girls, I even told him I'd love a child with special needs, a child others would not want, a hard to handle whild child, and that I would do my best to teach them by loving them unconditionally!!! And even when my days are chaos and busy, and not just the perfect plan, that at that moment, I want, they are the most wonderful and blessed days, because I have been given a gift, that only God can give me! I'm a mommy! Medically there is no way, It was all removed when I was still in my twenties, and to many around me, they felt I'd never get to be a Mom, the only thing I ever really wanted! And I knew deep down, that God loved me so much, and that in his time and his plan, he would grant me the desires of my heart! And he did!!!

1 Samuel 1:27 "For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him:".
This is just how it is, he did, he gave me 2 beautiful girls, just like I always wanted! He gave me my first born to be my mini me and love racing, cooking, crafts, and all the things her moma does, yet to have a heart of gold, and be full of witt and humor, like no other! She is charming, and so very creative and yet so logical! A great narrator! Every night she makes up her own story to tell me, before bed, and it's the BEST! Then he gave me a sweet loving very hyper and often rowdy cutie pie! My little climbing monkey! A lover that is so full of mischief that it ammuses me! The baby in all aspects! (just the way I wanted her to be). She lives up to her name daily! *grins* And to many, they look at our family and are so bold, as to ask me, do you regret adoption, since your girls are a bit hard to handle? Do you regret going through this the 2nd time, since it's drug out and so very stressful? Do you realize they are going to have the genetics of the biological family, and this can lead them right down the road, their bio mom lives? and much much more! So this is for all those! They do have the genetics of their biological family, and let me tell you, I couldn't be more excited! They are princesses, not only mine, but to the highest of all Kings!!!! Yes, they do have some mighty biological genetics that make these innocent precious girls up!!!! Do I regret going through this very so long process? NEVER, are you kidding me! Yes some days it's not the way I want it to go, I would very much have loved for it to be final by now, but it's all part of a plan, and I have the BEST prize, my daughter, so really how could I regret this?! And how could I regret adopting my girls, they are the children I prayed for, the chilldren God gave me, (in answer to the prayers I prayed), they are choicen! And really can you tell me that by giving birth to them, it makes them any better or different, than my girls? I don't think so! So I ask this, why are adopted children labeled by the public? Why is it seen in such a negative light? As hubby and I have told many people, our gift couldn't be better! Because God trusts us to raise these girls, he removed them from a harmful situation, and blessed us beyond, with them! He is letting us be their Earthly parents, as he is everyone of ours Heavenly Father! And wow, I'm so thankful he is!!!! So for us, to be trusted by him to adopt to precious girls, (Just like Joseph did Jesus), how could we have any regrets!!! Yes I have my opinions on the 2 very different routes we went through, and I have my frustrations with the system, but in no way do I regret adopting them! .... And what is ringing on everyones mind now (and been asked by many), are we complete as a family yet? How much more will you go through, can you really handle the stress to go throught the process again????.... All I can say is, only God has the answer! If he wants to give us more children, he will! And as for the route we go, it will be left up to him! But I am happy! I'm happy and thankful for what I have, and I don't have search or seek for more children to grow our family. It's totally in the hands of my Lord, and I trust him all the way!

I have promised to do all I can for my daughters, and for the moment I want them to Be little! I want them to be kids, and be innocent! I want them to have hope and faith, and praises each day, and I want them to know that no matter what, they have our unconditional love!!!! I want them to know, we will be there for them every step of the way! I want to be the parents, just like my parents are!!! And I pray each day, that we will be! Girls, mommy loves you, more than you can ever imagine! There is nothing in this world that will EVER change this! I don't care what you become, I just want you to stay true to who you are, keep your eyes on God, and keep the love in your heart, and then you will be just fine!!! I love you both so very much!!!!!

Get your Kicks on Route 66 ~ Our Show

Kelly and Kelly's Korner is the gracious host of show us your life! It's always lots of fun to check out! This week is Show us your daily life! So that is just what I will do. Click on the button and it will take you there to see all about others busy days!

Our life is busy and full of chaos lots of days, but it's our life, and to me it really is the GREATEST! I'll give you a brief update (for any new visitors), I'm a stay at home mom, who is blessed by adoption! We are currently going through our second adoption!

Our life is full of many wild moments and adventures throught out each and every day! There aren't many dull moments around here! And we have said for a long time I'm the ring leader to this 5 ring circus! (Thank you, Dad for this title).

Lil K is my alarm clock, and she gets me up around 7 am every morning! She and I get up and I feed her breakfast. Then we play around and read a little bit. Then it's bath time for her. Mommy tries to do a couple of things. Then about 9:30 or 10 am Lil E rolls out of bed. She gets up and eats her daily breakfast, a banana and sometimes toast or a half of a peanut butter sandwich. As she watched Clifford or World World. Then we all start getting ready for the day! Daddy arrives home around 12 or 1. I make us lunch and we sit down as a family for lunch. We spend a bit of family time together! And daddy rushes off to bed around 2 or 2:30.

At this time, it's pure chaos and differs for each day. I make my Scentsy deliveries, sort Scentsy, run errands, doctor appoints, go to the grocery store or anything else that has us hopping and busy!!! This is the time of day we go get our daily happy hour soda, and if we are all done with everything and the weather is nice, we play at the park! And if we are lucky enough to be at home, there is no telling what we are playing. We really love playing outside! Somewhere in here, I have started a load of laundry and I am need to change it out now.

(this the order I was working on, labeling and seperating on Wednesday)

(then Thursday it was delivlery day, and so we took a break for a little bit of play time too)

By 5 we are settling down. The girls eat at 6 or 6:30. I get Lil K ready and she is off to bed about 7 or 7:30.

Then Lil E practices drawing and writing and all the big girl things she likes to do alone. And has her bath time. Mommy has computer time, and starts getting stuff in line for Daddy for the night. And then about 8:30 I start dinner or daddy and I. I wake him up around 9pm and he gets on the computer while I finish off dinner. We sit down and eat, and talk about what is going on. We watch a show if have dvr'd. Then Daddy gets ready for work and leave here around 11pm at night! Lil E is my mini me and a little night owl! She kisses daddy bye and settled down with our night time stories and gets ready for bed.

I spend this time cleaning the kitchen, playing on the computer and doing anything else I still need to do. and if I can watch something that is DVR'd. And with 2 busy little girls, I'm always on the go, that's for sure. And you never know what they will be into or doing!!!

It's time for me to do any devotional and get myself ready for bed! What time you may be asking yourself? It's about 12 or 1 am. That's a day in my life! And I treasure my one on one time with each one of the girls! One is a morning flower and the other my little night owl!
