Pumpkin Patch
My favorite time of the year has started! I love fall and Winter! I can't get enough of either one of these two! I love the colors, the crisp weather, the fun, the food, and and and... I could just keep going and going. I really do love it!
Things have been busy around here. On Friday we had to do some running around, and so I told the girls we could visit this pumpkin patch on our way home. The girls were both asleep and Mommy had to wake them. But they still had some fun! Each picked their own pumpkins. It was just to fun!!! It reminds me of taking Lil E the very first time. (her 2nd Halloween too). They ran from group to group!
Lil e ~ "Mom, how about these?"

Getting the girls to stand for a picture, was near impossible! Especially Lil K, she was ready to run around for the freedom! And here she is, picking her very own lil pumpkin! She wanted to carry one, so we found the small ones, so she could carry her own.

Look at what Lil E has found.... She come to me, saying "MOM MOM, LOOK it's a STRAWBERRY pumpkin!" "Can I have it? I want it."... and the answer was yes! It was just too cool to pass up!

Then it was home and time to get ready for homecoming! We first put our pumpkins out! :) So here is a pic of the 3 pumpkins we brought home from the lil pumpkin patch!

I have decided to participate in the "I heart Faces" weekly challange. This weeks theme is ~ Excited! So I am using one of my new favorite pictures!

This was taken of Lil K last weekend! :) We were doing some Halloween pictures, and this just happens to be one of my favorites. She was busy running around and being silly! And was excited when we "Boo'd" her!

You can click on the button and it will take you to Joy's blog where you can take part in this awesome sharing of our Faith!
video code
This week's post is a lil different. I am sharing a video of Praise you in the Storm by Casting Crowns, this is something I thought I'd share with you all this week, because it's been a big help to me. We are dealing with some difficult issues in our lives right now, but I know that God has a plan that is greater than we are! And I have to keep praising him and walking in his faith! Even though it's hard.
Hope it may inspire you too.
Hugs and Blessings,

Dessert Favorites ~ Show us your life

I am so excited! It's another week at Show us your life, hosted by Kelly. And this week she doing your favorite dessert! OH MY! Which one do I share? I'm having a hard time picking which one! But I am way excited, because last week, I found some awesome recipes and found a new family favorite! So go over and check out all the good recipes! And I will add, the recipe Kellly shared, is a favorite of ours! It's those yummy lil cake balls that I love to add to my holiday gift baskets! I do them with all sorts of combinations! You know the ones! :)
Well I couldn't share just one....... I tried and tried to pick one, but it didn't work. So here I am with a few of my favorites!
Peanut Brittle
1 c. peanuts
1 c. sugar
½ c. white corn syrup
1 tsp butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
Stir peanuts, sugar, & syrup together. Microwave 8 minutes, after 4 minutes, stir and put back in. At the end, take out & stir in butter & vanilla. Microwave again for 1 minute. Remove and stir in baking soda. Pour out on to a buttered cookie sheet. Let cool, break up, and store in an air tight container.
I love this peanut brittle recipe! It is so awesome! And reminds me of my Grandmother, who would make it the old fashion way! But this is much simpler and you still get the same taste.
And to my next choice.....
This is such a wonderful dessert. It makes the perfect bring along to any Church dinner, a picnic, or any other get together! It is so easy too!
Brownie Delight
1 box of family size brownie mix (9 x 13 pan size package)
1 jar of caramel ice cream topping or 1/2 tub of marzetti caramel dip
1/2 - 1 cup chopped pecans
1 large box of chocolate instant pudding
1 tub of cool whip
Mix and bake brownies according to directions on the package. Let cool slightly. Spread caramel on top of the brownies. Sprinkle with nuts. Mix pudding with only half the milk it calls for. Spread this on top of the nuts. Spread cool whip on top of the pudding. Top off with grated chocolate candy bar curls.
Here's the link to one of my favorite recipes that I shared with yall before. It's Patty's Pecan Pie Bars. They are beyond awesome!
Hope yall enjoy!

Dance Time
We started Dance last week.... and we weren't in the right class, but this week we were with the most awesome class! And I'm so thankful the teacher realized and put us in this group! It's a perfect group for my sweet beginner dancer! And we are using Dancing to help us learn to focus! What better way, than using something we love! And we we do really good at focusing, we can move to racing! First Go Karts and then later real race cars! But still dancing!
