October15th

Today is a very important day in my family! This brings up lots of sad emotions, and very happy and thankful too. Today is National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Rememberance Day. You can go to www.october15th.com for information on this and to find out lots of support places, and all kinds of stuff.
This is near and dear to me for many reasons, my own loss, my family has been hit greatly with losses, and so have my friends. I have an Angel sister watching down. My mom's first born. It's very hard sometimes!
And I know many are saying, but you have 2 girls now. Yes I do! They are my everything, they are my gifts from God, and I'm so glad he has blessed us! But my heart breaks for the losses, and for everyone out their who has had to deal with this.
Go hugs and kiss your kids today, maybe read an extra story to them or something. Just know how blessed you are because of them!!!
And please please do remember all that have lost with a special prayer today!
I have a special thank you to my sweet friend, who made this banner for me! Thank you for helping me honor this day for the last several years!

Pumpkin Patch

My favorite time of the year has started! I love fall and Winter! I can't get enough of either one of these two! I love the colors, the crisp weather, the fun, the food, and and and... I could just keep going and going. I really do love it!

Things have been busy around here. On Friday we had to do some running around, and so I told the girls we could visit this pumpkin patch on our way home. The girls were both asleep and Mommy had to wake them. But they still had some fun! Each picked their own pumpkins. It was just to fun!!! It reminds me of taking Lil E the very first time. (her 2nd Halloween too). They ran from group to group!

Lil e ~ "Mom, how about these?"

Lil K ~"I can't pick it up!"

Getting the girls to stand for a picture, was near impossible! Especially Lil K, she was ready to run around for the freedom!

And here she is, picking her very own lil pumpkin! She wanted to carry one, so we found the small ones, so she could carry her own.

Look at what Lil E has found.... She come to me, saying "MOM MOM, LOOK it's a STRAWBERRY pumpkin!" "Can I have it? I want it."... and the answer was yes! It was just too cool to pass up!

Then it was home and time to get ready for homecoming! We first put our pumpkins out! :) So here is a pic of the 3 pumpkins we brought home from the lil pumpkin patch!
Even though the girls had lots of fun picking pumpkins and running free, what stood out the most to Lil E was watching the tractor with two trailers of pumpkins! She was blown away by the many pumpkins he had and was bringing up to sale!
Hope everyone had a great weekend and that you all have a wonderful and blessed week!

Happy Fall!

It's so awesome! The weather is screaming fall! Everywhere we look, we are seeing fall! It is just so awesome! So this makes me super happy!!!!

Thought I'd share a couple of pictures of the girls! We love fall!

Happy Fall Yall!!!!!

Hugs and Blessings,

It's Official

We are moving! I can't believe it, but we are! And yes this will be our new home! (new to us) We are moving early Nov. And I can't wait! We are all excited and happy about the move! It is really a very positive move for our family!
We had hoped to, but things weren't working out. So I trully handed this to God, put it in his hands! And let it go! I asked the Lord to please make the way, open the closed doors, but in his time, not ours! Then out of no where, it it came to be! And when we got the call about the house, I was concerned. Is it cute, is it this or that. And even tried to talk myself out of us going to see it! But then we decided it go see the house!
The morning of the day we had planned to go see the house, started off bad! Everything that could go wrong this day, did! It was crazy!!! While driving in town before leaving here, I had 2 very very close calls with accidents! God had his hands on us and kept us safe and clear. I was about to give up! And then I said, oh no! This has to mean this is for sure God's will and that devil is trying to ruin it! Not going to happen! I picked up the phone, still shaked by the last near miss, and I tell James. "Hi honey, all I can say is things must be about to get really GREAT, and that devil is working over time. Just keep Praising him in these storms! Don't let the devil in." Of course he is then wanting to know what all is happening. I tell him about all that had gone wrong and that I had almost cancelled the appointment! But God didn't let me!
Before I knew it, I was there! I loved the outside! But let me tell you, when I walked inside, I feel in love!!! It has lots of character and charm! Just darling! I can't wait to get it all set up and ready to go, and share a few pictures too!
Everyone loved it! And let me tell you, OH MY! It's the American Dream to have the house with a white picket fence, or it was mine! The fence around the back, is a white picket fence! Just the cutest! I can't wait to get it all decorated and fixed up for the holidays too! I love Christmas!
Hope everyone is doing great!

Faithful Friday

You can click on the button and it will take you to Joy's blog where you can take part in this awesome sharing of our Faith!

video code

This week's post is a lil different. I am sharing a video of Praise you in the Storm by Casting Crowns, this is something I thought I'd share with you all this week, because it's been a big help to me. We are dealing with some difficult issues in our lives right now, but I know that God has a plan that is greater than we are! And I have to keep praising him and walking in his faith! Even though it's hard.

Hope it may inspire you too.

Hugs and Blessings,

I had such a sweet delivery this week! One of my dearest friends blessed me and Lil E with her cookie cutter collection! This may not be much to some folks, but to us it is GRAND! Just cookie cutters are awesome! We love them so!

We use them for cut out cookie or for play dough. But all the while we have fun rolling something out to cut with the cutter! All though this bunch was super awesome! As you can see from this pic, there are many different styles and kinds! But most special of this, is some were here great grandmothers! Now if that wasn't the sweetest thing ever! She said she just wanted to see them used, and knows how much the girls and I use cookie cutters all the time! This means so much to me!!! My dear friend, I thank you from deep down in my heart!! We will always love and cherish them!
There was so many neat shapes! Ones I haven't seen before, and all sorts of holiday ones! Can you guess what we are doing tonight? .......

Dessert Favorites ~ Show us your life

I am so excited! It's another week at Show us your life, hosted by Kelly. And this week she doing your favorite dessert! OH MY! Which one do I share? I'm having a hard time picking which one! But I am way excited, because last week, I found some awesome recipes and found a new family favorite! So go over and check out all the good recipes! And I will add, the recipe Kellly shared, is a favorite of ours! It's those yummy lil cake balls that I love to add to my holiday gift baskets! I do them with all sorts of combinations! You know the ones! :)

Well I couldn't share just one....... I tried and tried to pick one, but it didn't work. So here I am with a few of my favorites!

Peanut Brittle

1 c. peanuts
1 c. sugar
½ c. white corn syrup
1 tsp butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda

Stir peanuts, sugar, & syrup together. Microwave 8 minutes, after 4 minutes, stir and put back in. At the end, take out & stir in butter & vanilla. Microwave again for 1 minute. Remove and stir in baking soda. Pour out on to a buttered cookie sheet. Let cool, break up, and store in an air tight container.

I love this peanut brittle recipe! It is so awesome! And reminds me of my Grandmother, who would make it the old fashion way! But this is much simpler and you still get the same taste.

And to my next choice.....

This is such a wonderful dessert. It makes the perfect bring along to any Church dinner, a picnic, or any other get together! It is so easy too!

Brownie Delight

1 box of family size brownie mix (9 x 13 pan size package)
1 jar of caramel ice cream topping or 1/2 tub of marzetti caramel dip
1/2 - 1 cup chopped pecans
1 large box of chocolate instant pudding
1 tub of cool whip

Mix and bake brownies according to directions on the package. Let cool slightly. Spread caramel on top of the brownies. Sprinkle with nuts. Mix pudding with only half the milk it calls for. Spread this on top of the nuts. Spread cool whip on top of the pudding. Top off with grated chocolate candy bar curls.

Here's the link to one of my favorite recipes that I shared with yall before. It's Patty's Pecan Pie Bars. They are beyond awesome!

Hope yall enjoy!

We started Dance last week.... and we weren't in the right class, but this week we were with the most awesome class! And I'm so thankful the teacher realized and put us in this group! It's a perfect group for my sweet beginner dancer! And we are using Dancing to help us learn to focus! What better way, than using something we love! And we we do really good at focusing, we can move to racing! First Go Karts and then later real race cars! But still dancing!
