Day 28, Day 29

Day 28

Pray that your husband will be a man of prayer. Pray that he will seek and pursue God in purposeful quiet times. (1 Thess. 5:17; Luke 22:46; James 5:16)

16Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.

Day 29 (today's prayer)
Pray that your husband will surrender his time and talents to the Lord. Pray that his spiritual gifts will be manifest in his career, at church, and in your home. (Eph. 5:15-16; 1 Cor. 12:4, 7)

Ephesians 5:15-16 (New Living Translation)
15 So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. 16 Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days.

1 Corinthians 12:4; 1 Corinthians 12:7 (New Living Translation)
4 There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit is the source of them all.
7 A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other.

Hugs and Blessings,

It's ok....

Talk about a sweet moment. I had gone to the doctor yesterday, and Lil E was with me. And I had to get a couple of shots. So she tells me "Mommy, it's ok, I'm right here!" The sweetest words! And sometimes we thing they are not listening to us, but they are for sure! Then after we got home and all, and I was laying down, she ran in there with me and jumped up on the bed, gave me the biggest hug, and said "feel better baby, I'm just right in there with Daddy." It makes me so proud to see what a caring and loving lil girl she really is! I pride myself on this very thing!

Have a great weekend!

Hugs and Blessings,

Day 27

Day 27

Pray that your husband will understand the importance of taking care of his body—the temple of the Holy Spirit—for the glory of God. Pray that he will practice self-control by making wise food choices, and get sufficient exercise to stay healthy. (Rom. 12:1-2; 1 Cor. 6:19-20, 9:27)

Romans 12:1-2 (New International Version)
1Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual[a] act of worship. 2Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (New Living Translation)
19 Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, 20 for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body.
1 Corinthians 9:27 (New Living Translation)
27 I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should. Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others I myself might be disqualified.

Hugs and Blessings,

Day 26

Day 26

Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

1 Corinthians 10:31 (American Standard Version)
31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
