Silly Moments

Just thought I'd share some hi-lites from out week! They are just too funny not to share. First off we started out Monday, with Lil E fixing her daddy's hair! Now he would not look at me, as he knew I'd share the photos. And I am going to. Then Lil E was busy getting daddy with silly faces and wiggles of her hands. And then today, she was eating her snack and drinking her juice, you know she has to tell you something funny, so what else, than "I'm getting a sto ummy ache". Meaning she was getting full, but I couldn't help but laugh at how she said it. She is just so fully of silliness! Hope you had a great week! Have a blessed weekend! Don't forget the silly moments, they sure make life happier!

It's begining ot Look a little like......

CHRISTmas!.... Yes that is right, it is begining to look like CHRISTmas here at our house. Today we put our first CHRISTmas tree up in the girls room. It is a pretty pink one. And it will hold only the girls ornaments. I can't wait to see it all completed. I just love love love this time of year. We make sure all our decorating is done by the end of Nov, so that we can enjoy our decorations throughtout all of Dec! My favorite thing is to sit and stare at the lights while watching CHRISTmas movies or listening to CHRISTmas music... Here's the start...

Hugs and Blessings,

First Steps

Lil K took her first steps yesterday!!!!! It was so exciting! She would stand up and take one or two steps and then get to excited and sit down or fall down. We did finally get 3 steps at once. She will walk way fast with her walking toys, but she is doing so great!!

Pasta

I have to share with you all something fun and special! Fun shaped pasta! When Lil E was a younger, we had been given some Halloween pasta in a lil gift basket. We loved it. I have searched many stores for some more pasta and even in different themes. Well today I went on the search, and guess what, I found the very company!!! Pasta Shoppe

I am thrilled that I have found them! What a simple and easy way to make your Thanksgiving extra special and fun for the little ones! Some fun shaped pasta, make some mac and cheese with it, soup, pasta salad, and much more! You could make this your new family tradition for special occasions! I know we will be making it our family tradition!

Blessed!!!

It was a beautiful day here! The weather was very nice and the temps in the 70s. We had lots of fun at home and all, then we went to the park this afternoon! The girls had a blast! They got to slide, swing, climb, and run! It is truly the BEST feeling in the world to be able to freely take your kids to the park! Thank God, we live in the GREAT USA!!! Thank you to all our Men and Women that Serve in the Millitary that keep our freedoms a live! Nothing delights my days more than seeing the smiles on the girls faces! I can't ever Thank God, enough for the blessings he has given me! Two beautiful daughters through his arms, by the blessing of Adoption! Did you know that Nov is National Adoption Month? What a wonderful message we are spreading of unconditional love and acceptance! What great gift can I have? Adoption to me is the GREATEST other than our Salvation! The reason Adoption to me is the GREATEST is, because God choices us to adopt, just like he had Joseph adopt Jesus as his own! It makes me so thankful that I get that opprotunity! With Nov. being a month of National Adoption and Thanksgiving, they go hand and hand to me! What are you thankful for? I'm thankful for the gift of adoption, for my girls, for my best friend/husband, for my family and friends! Go enjoy your day! Enjoy your family, and be thankful!!!

God Bless the USA

God Bless the USA! May our freedoms continue! May we stand strong in our Christian belielfs and morals. The very reasons I did vote McCain/Palin!!! But for reasons I can not imagine, it was not the way this time. There was nothing ever against Obama for color or race! But difference if what I believe in and what he stands for. But today starts the next chapter? How do we handle this? Do we hide in shame or move on??? May we stand proud and hold our heads up high! I pray we do! I pray that each one of us finds the peace we need and the love for our Country! Many of us are broked now, but I have to remind myself, God has control! We must turn it over to him! We must stop trying to fix it now, and let God do it! We are blessed to live in the GREATEST Nation on Earth! One Nation Under God! I challange everyone to turn their focus on God, let him comfort you during this time, time of unknown. Let God lead you, lead you morally, lead your future decisions! Pray, and pray faithfully! "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people he chose for his inheritance." Psalms 33:12. God will bless us, but we have to keep God center! We must put our faith in him! "For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline." 2 Timothy 1:7. With this, yes I did vote for McCain/Palin, but I am going to stand strong in faith that God has a plan and stand up for what is right by God's word! He will provide for us and will get us through! He will Bless the USA! Turn your eyes to God! Praise his Holy Name! And remember we are living in the GREATEST land, Our home, the USA!!! The home our BRAVE MEN and WOMEN fought and died to keep us free!!! Thank you to all that Serve! God Bless the USA!!!!

Happy Halloween!!!

Happy Halloween to all our friends and family! We sure hope everyone had a wonderful and safe Halloween! We had lots of fun, and it was Lil K's 1st Halloween!

We had so much fun making a special Halloween meal. We iced our cookies and then did some brownies. We iced them witih orange, then used hershey kisses to make a jack o lantern face. It was lots of fun! Then for dinner we made mummy dogs! They turned out too cute! Then I was making a frozen pizza for something fast too. We took the pepperoni off and rearranged it to make a jack o lantern face. We had planned more for dinner, but we received a call and head out early!

The girls were having fun being silly while taking pictures by our pumpkins today! They were just too darling! I am so blessed to have my girls!!! They are the sparkles in my eyes, the rays of sunshine in my days, and everything to me! It is the best feeling in the world!
Then we were off to trick or treating! We stopped by only our friends places. Lil E thought that was super awesome! Lil K didn't much care for seeing others in their costumes.

We went to the Church, They were doing Trick or Trunks and a lil carnival for the kiddos! It was a lot of fun! They were even taking free photos to mail to you of your kids tonight. Lil E had a blast playing the games! She got to play several. She really liked the pumpkin toss and the pumpkin tic tac toe!

After all this, we were home to get settled for bed! I told Lil E Happy Halloween and did she have a nice Halloween? She told me, Yes it was the Best and I had a GREAT day!!! It melted my heart! It makes everything I do so much better! It really makes me smile and be thankful for all I have been blessed with through my daughters! Lil E has taught me so very much!
I sure hope your Halloween was just as grand as ours!!

Balls of Fun!!!

We had a great weekend this past weekend! Daddy was busy helping someone do some moving, so the girls and I spent some girl time in the other town, went to the zoo and shopping and even visited with some friends! It was wonderful!!! We had dinner at Outback Steakhouse, and tried the new Chicken Quesadillas. They are awesome! The honey mustard inside and for dipping really was something. We even ended up making them Sunday night at home.

The girls had a blast at the zoo! Lil E really loves all the animals! Her favorites are the monkeys and any of the cat family. And they had so much fun on the playground too! Mommy was over joyed watching them.

They have had the best of time this week playing with a new toy, it's a ball pit! The girls have played in it more than anything they have played with. They go in and out and play so good together.

I hope yall have been doing well! Sorry we haven't been here, we ended up with a lil bug and just haven't been around. Hope yall have a blessed week!

Hugs and Blessings,
