On our drive there, we found lots of beautiful scenery, but my most favorite was the large icicles. They were incredible.

It was a special trip in many ways, and it was nice to have Daddy’s friend since elementary school and his wife there too! They stayed right under us. We did get to have some fun and all.
On our first full day there, we went to have lunch with some friends that live in the area! And it was a great time! The girls had a wonderful time and didn’t even want to go back to the condo. They could have stayed forever. I had a wonderful afternoon just talking with my sweet friend. We got to talk about our businesses, mom stuff, school stuff, and much more! Before we knew it, it had been several hours and we were having to get back. Time was not near long enough!
On our drive back to the Condo, we found this breath taking lake. So I had to get a few pictures!
It was the end of Winter Fest. And the lights for Winter Fest were so cool!
Monday morning we were up and ready to go to breakfast. And it was very yummy! Flap jack’s is the place to eat!
Our friends and their two youngest met us for breakfast. And then we had a fun day at the resort in the water park.
After a day in the water, we went to the Island for a little fun!
Had fun playing in the arcade and then stopped by cinnabon for some yummy goodness!
After that, we went back and grilled out some steaks and enjoyed dinner in again. We had lunch in earlier in the day! It was really nice to be able to cook instead of going out all the time. I guess the yummy food brought us a friend. I know it was just wanting some of our food.
Then we had a little in home game time!
On our last full day there, we went for our time share tour. And I am here to say, West Gate Resorts is by far the best time share resort we have ever seen. This wasn’t our first time at a West Gate!
Our Princesses were ready for the day!!
After the tour and meeting, we changed and headed out for some last bit of fun.
We met our friends for lunch and had an amazing time! They are one of the sweetest couples we know!
After lunch, that evening we spent some time walking around Gatlinburg.
We really enjoyed sitting out in the rockers and listening to the Bluegrass band at Ole Smoky Holler. They were great!!!!
all ready for bed time! We don’t want to leave! Everyone wanted to stay longer!
Wednesday morning it was time to say see you later and head home! The girls really didn’t want to leave, but we will be back soon!
Our drive home was long and messy! We dealt with rain and snow all the way home. But we made it safe and sound!
It was really a GREAT trip!!! Can’t wait to do it again!!! Even hubby said this should be our yearly trip! If you ever get the chance, you should take a trip there!
