We were headed to spend a few days in Branson, MO. My favorite vacation getaway spot. We were going to meet up with some really special friends! The crazy part is her and I have been friends for many years, before I had kids. And this is the very first time for us to meet in person! How crazy is that! But it’s so worth it!!! Our friendship is really special! It has weathered the hardest storms! But even went through a time we didn’t speak, but in that time, God has each of us growing on our own!!! And when we came back together, our friendship is even stronger! We know the darkest and deepest secrets! And it’s all ok! No we don’t always see eye to eye, as a matter a fact, we see lots very different, but we are there for each other and without judging the other! It’s really a dream come true trip!

We got there and went to dinner at Cracker Barrel. They had been swimming already, but we were late arriving. Go figure. The girls and I stop a lot! Or as she says, we dilly dag around!
It was a great time, and really felt wonderful that the kids al got along well right from the start!

After dinner we hung out at the hotel until we all went to bed.
Now you know you have a good friend, when she lets your child not only sleep with her, but puke on her and everything was didn’t flip out on you! She just cleaned it all up.
We set out for our real first day with some pictures at the hotel before we headed out.

Our first outing was the fish hatchery! And the kids loved it!!!
Look, we have a couple of kids that wanted to touch the fish! Hmm, and one got bit!
But that didn’t stop them! They still were trying to touch them!
After that we did the tour at the Winery! The kids didn’t really care!
After that, we drove to go eat lunch at Lambert’s - The Throwed Roll!
The food was GREAT! And the kids had a blast!!!!!

Before we got back to the hotel, we went to the scenic look out and I showed her the cabins we use to stay at.

Then it was back to the hotel and time to swim!! We stayed at the Grand Country Inn, so we had the water park to enjoy daily!
So day 1 was coming to and end! It was a wonderful and special time with all of us!
We played games in the hotel and had sandwiches for dinner. And then it was time from some sleep to have another great day all together!
