With our move, everyone said “I hope you love winter as much as you think you do”. And even with out of character much colder winter here, I do love it! The only part I don’t like is the fact it’s been so cold, and often too cold to go out and play in the beautiful white stuff that we love so much!!!
Here’s various pictures from different snows throughout the month. We managed to have some fun though!!!
This snow wasn’t as cold as the rest! But it was very dry snow and we couldn’t build a snowman. But it was so pretty and we had a lot of fun.
The girls and I did manage to have some fun.
Polar Vortex was headed our way and we know as the snow started and the temps would be dropping, that it was the time to go out and play in the snow, or we would be stuck inside.
We had a lot of fun, but it was pretty short lived. Not even fifteen minutes. The wind was horrible, but we made some memories and had a lot of fun as a family. And that is what’s so important! We really cherish the time that Hubby/Daddy is home with us.
We are headed out to see of of God’s masterpieces in the snow! I can’t tell you how much I love the beautiful scenery around here! It’s often breathtaking! And did you know I love barns! So I am always loving the barns! Snow and Barns together is perfect!
The girls wanted snow pictures without the coats and being bundled up, so we ran out and snapped a few and raced back inside. These girls crack me up!!
Just this past Sunday, the girls went out and made themselves little snowmen while playing. I love their creativity and their love of snow!
Our January has been a month of lots of cold and lots of snow! More importantly it’s been a month of wonderful family time and priceless memories being made! I never knew that one simple move would change our lives this way! It’s more than I ever dreamed it could be! I honestly haven’t ever been this happy! And the girls and hubby too! Everyone is so much happier! And it didn’t happen in our timing, but it came to be in the timing of God. So for it all I give him the Glory!
Hugs and Blessings,
