Princess Play

Yesterday we had so much fun! Lil E was playing dress up! It is so fun to see little ones get all involved in getting all dolled up. She says I'm a Princess Mommy! I said you are, My Princess! She just had the best time playing. She loves her dress up outfit, as it has a fluffy princess skirt! (in her words). This summer has been really hot, so we have been doing a lot more inside play than we did last summer. Have to figure something out to beat the summer time heat.

So after a great day of fun, it was time to make dinner. I had part of it planned and asked Lil E who likes to help in the kitchen, what veggie she would want besides our salad and she picked corn. So for dinner we had corn, salad, stuffing, and garlic chicken. YUMMY, if I do say so myself.

Garlic Chicken

1 small onion sliced
Italian Salad dressing
3 boneless skinless chicken breast, sliced in strips
10 - 12 garlic cloves

1 - 2 TBS Paparika
3/4 - 1 tsp lemon pepper
3/4 - 1 tsp cayenne pepper (or more if you desire more spice)
1/4 tsp salt

Pre heat oven to 350. Mix the paprika, lemon pepper, cayenne pepper, and salt in a small bowl. Place onions int he bottom of your baking dish. Pour Italian Dressing in the bottom of the pan, about 3 TBS. Enough to lightly coat the bottom of the pan. Roll chicken in the spice bowl and place in the pan. Top the chicken with garlic cloves. Bake at 350 for about 35 minutes, until chicken is done.

Hope you enjoy this recipe. It's one of our favorites.

Hugs and Blessings,

Sounds like a good meal to me. She is so cute in her frills! If the hat were red instead of pink, you could submit that photo to the Red Hat Society as a Red Hat in training. Wait a minute....I guess if one is in training to be a Re Hat you have to start in pink. Hmmm....she really is a Red Hat to be! *grin*
