Well Lil E has finally started and continued to poop in the potty like a big girl. Last week she attended a VBS and they did the Surfin his Scripture theme. Well so they were talking about fish. Well They thumb painted fish on to a flower pot. So she is in the restroom doing her business and she says to me, "Mommy look, is that fishies?". I answered her no honey they aren't, and went on about fish. I couldn't help but share this funny lil story! One day she will grow up and be like, Mom why did you share so much. But for me it is my way of documenting our lives!!! And that does mean the good, funny, and not so good times too!

God's Strength!
I wanted to share something with everyone! I had this other video shared with me a few days ago. I was greatly touched the first time, but the awesomeness of this Dad and Our Heavenly Father. But I was so overcome by emotions I couldn't see much further, even the depths of our strength from God. Then when I rewatched it again, it hit me much harder!!!
It took me back to a time in my own life. I had not been married too long. I had injured my left knee and was in rehab. Then low and behold I break my right leg and mess up my knee. I couldn't get around on the crutches very well because of my left knee injury kept me from being able to bare the weight on my left leg and no weight was allowed on my right leg at all. At this time, my daddy came to stay with hubby and I. Let me tell you about my daddy, he has heart condition, had broken his back and destroyed one of his legs. He can't get around to well. And to top it off he suffers from RA. But daddy said I'll be right there to take you too the doctor and therapy every day, as he was retired, so that hubby could continue to work. When he arrived he realized just how bad of shape I was in. He and hubby would literally have to pick me up and carry me to places and to the restroom and all. It was so hard for everyone. But you know what it was only because he got his strength from God that he was able to do this, as physically you it was thought and believed to be impossible! All things are possible with God!!! Thank you, Daddy, I can't imagine my life without him! (and he has a birthday coming up really soon!) Daddy is such a great Godly man and the light just radiates off of him! I love you, Daddy!
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. ~ Philippians 4:13
I didn't share this to take anything away from this father and son in the video, but to show just how we can all gain our strength from God!!!

Invisible
I did tend to think that what I had been doing was going unoticed a lot and that I was even invisible to some. Until today it bothered me! But then someone (Without even knowing) (Thank you Heart4MyHome!) shared this video with me! I finally got it! I'm suppose to be invisible. I want him to see and the others to just enjoy my work!!! I want my kids and husband and family and friends to enjoy the things I do without thinking anything more of it! It's my blessing to do these things! And I know that!!! I have been touched with the gift of adoption and I want my girls to always see it as the blessing it is, because they know that I did everything I did for them, because of the love of God and that I did it with a happy heart and love!!!! I'm so blessed and I will do my job with a happy heart and proud smile that I'm invisible! May God's smiles on my invisible work shine the Light of Jesus with all that I do!
Therefore I rejoice that I have confidence in you in everything.

I have been Tagged
I have been tagged by Heart4MyHome, to tell you all 5 things I love besides my family. First off I will say family includes my fur baby and my friends, as friends are the family we pick. I'll give you my 5 things and in no particular order.
I love our Lord, Jesus Christ. If he had not died for us on the cross in Calvary, I'd not have the Grace of God to get me through daily! I'm very thankful for the gift of Salvation we all have.
I love taking pictures. I am not a professional, but I love taking photos of my girls, and anything I love, especially all the gifts God gives us. Nature's beauty!
I love scrapbooking. I want to be sure to capture the story with the photos so my girls and generations have it all ready to read through our history.
I love cooking and baking! I love to cook for my family and friends! It is wonderful way to express your love for those you care about! As well as it tastes good too!
I love CHRISTmas! I'm a Christmas nut for sure, I love the decorating, the lights, the baking, the cheer that we all have. I love everything about Christmas! I'm such a Christmas lover that I celebrate Christmas in July as well as Christmas! I can't get enough Christmas! And it trully is not the gifts, although I love to give! I just love Christmas! And our trees are up weeks before Thanksgiving, so that I have more time to enjoy them!
I could go on and on..... But it says 5.
I am tagging ~

How Exciting!!
I'm so excited. I received my free copy of Gooseberry Patch's new cookbook, Christmas Kitchen in the mail. I have 2 recipes published in this cookbook. If they publish one of your recipes you get a free copy of the cookbook. Click on the picture above and you will be taken to the Goose Berry Patch site!
I tell you this is one of their best cookbooks ever! In recent years, a few freinds have said that the quality of some of the recipes haven't been as good. But this is one awesome cookbook! It is full of wonderful recipes. I do not think any one could ever be disappointed in this cookbook!!! I entered both recipes, without ever thinking they would be picked for a Christmas book! This is even better, as Christmas is my favorite time of the year!!!
And something so exciting to me, in the summary about the cookbook, one of my recipes is listed!!! WOW! Sure makes me proud. *big smiles*
Here's one of my recipes in this cookbook ~
White Chocolate Popcorn
5 to 6 pkgs, butter flavored microwave popcorn, popped
Pour popcorn into a large bowl, removing any unpopped kernels. Combine chocolates in a large heavy saucepan over low heat. Cook and stir until melted and smooth. Pour over popcorn and mix well. Spread out on wax paper to cool. Package in small bags for gift giving. You can also sprinkle while chocolate is still warm, as soon as you spread out on the wax paper, with color sprinkles to make it festive for each holiday or special occassion.

Twice the Fun, Twice the Blessing!

This morning I sit here with the biggest smile on my heart! I am watching both my girls play together! What a beautiful gift from God!!! It really is twice the fun to see them playing so well together and laughing. Nothing greater than the laughter of a child! This morning when Lil K woke up, Lil E ran to tell her I love you sister! Lil E is always wanting to give loves to her sister! And Lil K just lights up with she sees or hear her sister! They are full love, hugs, and, lots of laughter! It just makes me so thankful and happy to know how blessed I am to have my girls! God is so good and has given me the desires of my heart! Even when we thought it wasn't possible, God knew it was! Just remember, two is twice the fun!!! Hope you have a Blessed day!

Happy Birthday America!!!

Happy Birthday America!!! Hope you spent the 4th of July celebrating America's Birthday just like we did! Look at this beautiful display out on the courthouse lawn in our small town! We live out in the middle of no where USA, but I tell you what, we have some of the BIGGEST AMERICAN pride!!! Every business still hangs an American Flag out! Business close for the holiday! It's trully wonderful!!! God Bless the USA!!!

It was Lil K's 1st July 4th!! And she was too cute for sure!!! We had so much fun! We went to the park, had snow cones, spent some time with some friends, went swimming, cooked out, remembered those that SERVE and gave us our FREEDOMS in this great Land that we LOVE! And Lil E sure decided that she loved the big pool this time!

Then we had to wait until the night after to enjoy our firework show, but it was beautiful! We sat with some friends! And the girls were the cuties! Lil E's lil friends (J&J) were just too cute for sure. They said the fireworks are like popcorn when they pop! Lil E was scared at first, so she moved from her stroller to my lap, and then behind me in the back of the truck. She had just got over being scared and was sitting all alone. The girls are sisters and now start aggravating each other, and their mom says to them to stop it and watch the fireworks. And out of the mouth of the babe (Lil E), she says to the girls and herself, "Girls watch the fireworks, and Lil E they wont hurt you!"

Trip to the Zoo

We were driving home this past week and decided to take a lil break. It was time for Lil K to eat and Lil E was ready to have small break from the car, so that is just what we did. We were going to the the park, but instead decided let's just visit the zoo for a bit. I really liked this idea as it was a true hot summer day, and there would be places I would be able to have some ac. Plus we love animals! And it would be Lil K's 1st Zoo Trip! How exciting! So here we were!
We had a blast!!! We met up with some great friends and I tell you the girls had the time of their lives. They fed some animals. They were able to feed birds, and fish, and turtles, and ducks. They had a blast watching the monkeys. I said it is because the girls act like lil monkeys themselves. hehehe. It was just a lot of fun. We didn't have tons of time, so we didn't stay all day, and didn't see even half the zoo. We will be going back to see some more soon for sure!
As you can see the Penguins were a huge hit! Once we were home and I had downloaded all the pictures and Lil E sees them and says to me hey mom, that's the zoo. I said it sure is, would you like to go back. She screams yes, I love it, can Em go too. I said of course. Then she tells me this, "Mom, those penguins sure are cute and pretty funny, but they stink really bad, don't you think?" Out of the mouth of a near 4 year old, who thinks she is grown. But she did love watching them swim. She really loved when this lil one was swimming right up to her!
