Where did Feb go?

 

For a fun field trip day, we went to the museum. The girls had a lot of fun! And it is great to see them have fun learning!

 

Finally we were getting some winter weather! We had had hardly any snow all winter! And we sure were missing the fun!!! Then Feb brought us several rounds and lots of fun!

 

We had fun as a family, and really enjoyed the extra time having Daddy home with us! And for the first time ever for myself and the girls, we made some snow cream!

 

Love him so much!!! And he is an amazing daddy and hubby! A great protector and provider! And he loves to have fun with us!

We went to spend the night with some friends, and we ended up having 3 pink and black zebra’s. All the girls were so excited to get these fun jammies.  We had planned to go to the Aquarium while there, however, we had a snow storm, so the girls and I had to get home. And it was a stressful drive. Instead of an hour and half, it took us over 3 hours! But God did keep us safe and we got home safely. And was welcomed home by Daddy.

 

The girls got to ride dirt bikes for the first time. It was a neat set up at the RV and Motorcycle Show. They had a lot of fun. And much to our surprise, Lil E had a blast and Lil K was a bit un easy with it all.  But all in all they had fun, and it a great outing for us all.

 

We found a small hill to go sliding down! The girls had the best time! And Lil K was totally daring! She was sliding down in lots of different ways, even standing up.

 

I love this Sunset picture. Snow is by far one of my favorites! (Fall and snow). God paints the most amazing master pieces for us to enjoy!!!

 

Feb zipped by so fast. And I can’t believe it was that fast! We are into the last week. But it’s been a really fun month for us!! Hope yall are having fun and staying warm! I know there has been a lot of winter weather across most of the Country.

Jan 2015

 

Welcome 2015! I can’t believe we are into another year! Time flies by! I hope that yall have had a great Christmas and a very Blessed New Year!  We have had a lot going on and staying busy busy!!!

 

We brought the new year in at home with some friends! It was a peaceful fun time! January is always so busy!  The one thing we would have loved was some real snow… But that wasn’t really happening.

   

The girls spoiled me for my Birthday! I love how thoughtful they are and sweet and full of love with each gift they give and created!!  this is a picture frame that Lil E created a scrapbook page to put in the frame to go in my office! What a special gift!!!!

 

But at my birthday, it is a time that reminds of how that dreaded days 2 years ago, when my sweet Daddy took his turn and grew his wings! I know he is in a better place, but man do I ever miss him!!! More than words can show!  My Daddy was a hero!!! He was an angel walking earth! His love was just as our Heavenly Father’s, unconditional! He was the strongest man I will ever know!!! The girls miss him, and I sure miss seeing them light up when talking to him, and especially when we got to go see him! Hubby really misses him too! They were the best of friends. Actually the greatest example of father and son relationship! I will always be thankful that my parents loved their son in laws as their own kids. I still miss calling him at night to remind him to take his meds. It was just that last call of the night to say good night!  I can’t even believe it’s been two years. And this year we said see you later to hubby’s grandma at this very time. (their funerals were the same date and time, just 2 years apart.)  I know she is in a better place as well. And not suffering. I am very thankful that I was able to feed her, her last meal in the hospital.  And we will cherish the good times forever!

 

 

Besides being with the Grandma and the family, homeschooling, and normal life, we have been a bit busy with some vinyl work.  We created a piece for our home, and I am in love with it!

This describes us for sure!!!

2014 In Review

 

What a year we had!!! It was amazing in so many ways! And here is a small glimpse of it! This doesn’t even begin to touch all that 2014 had! It was year full of milestones and many firsts! Lots of fun with family and friends!

Thankful Month Ending

 

Day 28 - I am thankful for birthdays!!! I love celebrating days for those I love!

 

Day 29 - Thankful that no matter how rough of a day or time we have, that we still have unconditional love!!!!!!!

 

Day 30 -  I am thankful for my sisters and their families!!! I love them!

Thankful Thursday

 

Day 21 – Thankful for those surprised blessings in life. Some may be small and tiny, but they are all special! I loved getting surprises in the mail.

 

Day 22 -  Thankful for adoption!!! Nov is adoption month and yesterday National Adoption Day. I always knew I wanted to adopt. And I am so thankful that it was my calling!! Like I tell my girls, it was how Jesus was raised, so it's that kind of special!!!!!!!

 

Day 23 -  I’m so thankful for my nap! It was much needed!

 

Day 24 - Thankful to see my daughter letting go and enjoying life!!!! Thank you Jesus for this answered prayer!

 

Day 25 – Thankful that even with a moderate concussion my sweet princess was not hurt worse. Thank you Jesus for being with her.

 

Day 26 – Thankful for RAK's from those sweet people we don't know. We were meeting a friend at a Mc Donald’s, not to far from home, as they were traveling near. We had a birthday gift for their daughter and them for each of my girls. The girls were sitting down so nice and about to start eating. Well a nice man walked up and started talking and asked if we were having a Birthday party, as we explained to him what we were up to. He made a little talk and said for us to have a Happy Thanksgiving. A few later the Shift manager came out and said for us not to leave, they were baking us fresh chocolate chip cookies for us to have to celebrate Birthdays! And a bit later they delivered us a dozen fresh and warm chocolate chip cookies! What a special treat and blessing!!

 

Day 27 - Thankful for the family time today with us all four cooking. Great memories made that will be forever cherished!!!

Thankful Thursday

 

Day 14 - Thankful for my girls. They are my world. No matter how hard or crazy it may be.  I love them, and sure couldn’t imagine my life without them! Today wasn’t the easiest day with them by any means, even down right hard! But no matter what, I’m so very blessed and thankful to have been chosen to be their mom!!

Day 15-  I am thankful for the amazing friends I have! I really am blessed with some of the best!!! I am so glad to have them in my life! In the last year, things have really shown me who I can count on and who not. Far apart or right near by, my friends really are amazing!

Day 16- I’m thankful for the snow!! I love snow and wish we actually had more, but it was beautiful to watch it come down.

Day 17 – Thankful for dinner time together! I love that we get to eat most days twice a day all together as a family! It really is wonderful!

Day 18 - Thankful for the sillyness by my girls!! I love how silly they can be and they have so much fun doing it! It makes my heart happy watching them have that kind of fun and lots of giggles.

Day 19 – I’m thankful for our home! It may not be as big or as nice as some places in our past, but this is better because it's ours!!! And so cozy and wonderful!!! It's really home, where our hearts are!

Day 20 -  I am thankful for heat!!!! I like that we are able to stay warm.

I honestly can’t get over how remarkable fall is here! It’s beyond beautiful and the most wonderful! The colors, the weather, everything!!!!

Yes I am the crazy who loves barns, and was driving down the road and saw this beautiful barn and we stopped for a picture!

 

And then we love leaves and water falls!

 

 

 

We can’t just take pictures and not have some fun!! So we were busying playing in the leaves! (Not to mention lots of other playing through out the days!)

 

 

My favorite time of year and my favorite people! So we had the best of time taking pictures and making memories! We saw some beautiful sites around the area!
