Early June

It was the 1st weekend of June! (about all we were home). We arrived home late June 4th, to leave out the middle of the next week. Didn't make it home a week even. But that is ok! Here's how we spent those few days! And I'm so thankful we did take the time to enjoy some down time as a family!!!

Saturday we got ready and ran to town, had lunch and then came back home!

We came home to have an afternoon of fun outside! It's our backyard oasis!

We spent our entire afternoon out! And grilled burgers for dinner! It was just the best!!!!
We were back to having fun outside on Sunday afternoon too!

Look who was swimming with the girls???

Little Bitty Bit!

And we have gone from sliding on the slide to jumping off! And Lil E even asked if she could jump from the trampoline! NO WAY, little missy!

We even had some bubblel time fun!!! Who doesn't love bubbles?? I know it's a favorite for all of us!!!

Finally, the snow cone place in town opened up! And Guess who had to go and try it out!!! THey were yummy!!! I have to say, they even put a bit to much syrup on them! But they were yummy!

Then it was time for some more summer fun!!!
We had so much fun playing out!!! Wish we had gone ahead and did the big pool in early spring! Now the one we wanted, it sold out everywhere, so we settled on the little tiny thing for now. (guess since we spent so much time away, it was ok though.)

After our summer starting off with some fun at home, it was time to head out in a panic rush to see my sister, who know had been rushed into emergency surgery!
Hugs and Blessings,

We are back!

Oh my goodness! What a crazy time it has been!!!

We were away at my folks until the very end of June! So it was pure crazy! My sister is healing very slowly and dealing with lots of issues and such coming her way with all the changes and health issues she has.

Then I get home, to learn my other sister (the oldest of us three girls) has melanoma! Now she is going through more testing and such!

When we returned home, we had some vistors arrive too! They left yesterday! So it's been busy since we arrived back. So this is the first week that we have back to "normal" routine and life! So we are trying to get settled back.

I missed everyone and missed keeping up with all the blogs and such!

Hope to see everyone around really soon!

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day!!!!!!!!

I am blessed beyond with an awesome daddy of my own, so I know how important they are!!! But I could not have picked a better daddy for my girls, if I had created him myself! Instead God created the most wonderful man I could have even dreamed of! He is a wonderful husband and Daddy!!! He is a great protector, leader, guide, friend, and everything else in one! He is super gentle and the love he has for our girls, is unbelievable!!! I will never forget the first time he saw our Lil E and just the love that beamed out of this eyes! and we headed home with our bundle of joy! Or when we drove 24 hours strait to go pick up our Lil K, after working all day!! That is a very special dedication, and I'm thankful you are that dedicated to our girls and family!!! I love how you will go play in the little kiddie pool with them, or anything else crazy and corny, just to make those girls smile!!! I love you and am so proud of who you are to us! And his girls are just crazy about him!

Thank you, my love, for being so awesome!!

Happy Father's Day to the best Daddy that I could have ever had! You rock! You made me the person I am! and I want to thank you for that! You made me feel special and loved and always taught me to be kind, just like Jesus! And I'm forever thankful that I have such a loving, caring, fun, Godly Daddy! And that my girls are blessed with a wonderful Grandaddy!!!

Happy Father's Day to all the Daddys out there!!! It does not matter how you became a Dad!

Prayers Requests while we are MIA

What a couple of weeks we have had! First off my dad had a procedure done. I had some doctors appointments... Then my dear sister was rushed to the ER. After a few days of touch and go with her, she had to have emergency surgery because her intestines ruptured. She spent some time in ICU, but today is in a room. Thank God!!! Over the weekend, while I am away here with my family. Some 7 hours from home! I had to take Lil K to the ER! We were admitted and a surgery scheduled. Then plans changed. Now she had a tiny procedure, and we were let to go home. We see the Surgeon on Thursday and find out when her real surgery will be. She has a cyst that attached or so close to her rectum, that it is giving her some issues. So I don't know when I will be home. Right now we are away from home and missing home for sure!!! But thankful for some doctors who are helping our family in each situation! I feel certain our Doctors back home would not have even found this to. So I know this is all in God's plan.... Praising him during the storm! I will be back soon.

Mother's Day (how we spent ours)

Happy Mother's Day! It was all about going to check out the lake and camping places for a new spot for me. I love the lake so much! I could be there all the time. And since we had moved, this would be a new place for us, but close enough for day trips or weekend trips.....

Momma's little cutie pies! :)

It's so beautiful and peaceful there! And I can't say enough about the fact it is not all commercial and built up on! I love that home aren't all right on the water, and that there is shore lines of beautiful natural views! God work at his finest!

Memorial Day Weekend/ Family Reunion

It was our annual family reunion over Memorial Day weekend! We all come together for so much fun!!!! Some boat and fish out on the lake, and some of us enjoy the pool and the kid pool. We have so much fun and everyone just runs around and does whatever it is that want to do! There is always a lot of laughs!

Lil E was busy using 2 ring floats in the pool! And Lil K was busy wearing goggles that were too big for her!

Lil K has no fear of the water, and would tell you to "yet go of me" if you were helping her in the pool! She loved it all! Life jacket, rings, whatever you had her in, she was happy as can be!

Lil E loves the run and jump in the little pool and make big splashes!!! Boy some things never change! She has the BEST of time int he little pool!

Do you see those eggs? How awesome is that! Momma bird would sit on them out in the yard! We did lie to the kiddos and tell them that part of the yard had ants, so please stay away from there, and they did.

It's not all fast paced! We spend lots of time taking it easy too!! That's for sure!

We have horse shoes and volleyball set up too! It is just tons of fun for everyone!! You can find something to do.

What's a get together without some yummy grub too! Saturday night we did brats and hot dogs and all the fixings! Then Sunday evening was our annual Fish Fry! YUMMY! Fried catfish fillettes and all sorts of yummy sides! WE had pinto beans, corn bread, potato salad, mac and cheese, cheesey corn, baked beans, brisket and who knows what all else! It was the best!!!! AFter all that, we had some yummy watermelon!!!

Monday we had to drive home! But it wasn't without much thought and appreciation to our Service men and women for all they do for our great Country! God Bless yall!

The flags were out in many of the small towns as we got closer to home! It made me so happy to know that even though I live in podunkville, USA, that we still show our Pride and respect for the Holiday!

We did stop and get us snowcones on our way home, Monday evening! They were the best end to a wonderful weekend!!!
Hope you too had a wonderful Memorial Weekend and that you remember to thank some Service men (past or present).

Hugs and Blessings,
